“Hello, sweetheart,” his Aunty Samantha said, kissing his cheek.

“You fly in this morning?” Aidan asked as Amelia fought him for the coffee jug. “Aimes. I swear to God, not today.”

His sister stepped aside, and he stared at her while the rich dark liquid filled his mug. Then frowned.

It wasn’t like her to give up so easily.

“Yes, I flew overnight,” his aunt said and began to explain why she had been delayed, but he was barely listening.

“Morning kids,” Andrew announced loudly.

Fucker.

“Dad,” Aidan replied, not bothering to look at him. “Is breakfast still being served?” he asked the room, not caring who answered.

He added some cream and sugar, stirred it, and then Amelia rubbed his back and gave him a small smile.

What in the fuck?

The next minute, his mom walked in from outside and waved her hand in front of her face. “Lord, it’s hot outside already. I’m going to check on Emma. The poor dear.”

Why? Because she was marrying his brother?

Amused with his own private joke, Aidan took a long sip of his coffee, then headed outside. Everyone was seated around the table while the wedding planners set up the rest of the yard.

Servers were still clearing the table and delivering plates. Thank God.

“What can I get you, sir?”

“Everything. Eggs. Bacon. Mushrooms. Tomato. More coffee. Toast. A roast chicken. Everything,” Aidan said.

Jacob and Blake burst out laughing across from him.

“Sir, I’m not sure we have chicken,” the server explained, confused. “But I can check,”

“I’m messing with you. Just a full breakfast, please,” Aidan said, smirking at his cousins.

Young fuckers.

They didn’t look hungover at all.

Daniel stretched out his arms, yawning, and tossed his napkin on top of his plate. “What a night. That’s one way of getting out of being a best man.”

Aidan narrowed his eyes.

“I’m notthathungover. I’m still going to do my job,” Aidan shot back. “Logan was with me, so he’s half to blame.”

Daniel stared at him and then laughed. “Not you. Me. Although you do look like shit.”

Rude.

But fair.

“Why are you not standing up today?” he asked, wondering if he’d woken in an alternative universe.

Amelia sat down next to him.

“With Lily gone, Emma only has one bridesmaid, so she said I could sit this one out and when Logan finally gets up, he’d agree.”
