Moaning softly, I started to work my tongue more along the underside of his length to coax him to his release faster. I grew impatient for him.

With a soft grunt and few jerky movements, I started to feel him throb as a delicious salty taste coated my tongue, making me moan with delight. Eagerly, I swallowed and sucked, milking him for everything he had to offer.

“Shit...! You are going to be my fucking ruin, lisichka.” He groaned with a soft growl at the end. His hold on me didn’t ease for a few moments, holding me firmly in place as he breathed deeply and recollected himself.

Smirking down at me, he pulled me off his cock and forced me to look up at him by jerking my head back. “Open your mouth, I want to see that you got everything.”

He’s going to be my undoing at this rate. Without hesitation, I opened my mouth and stuck my tongue out for him to see there wasn’t a trace of him left.

Looking deeply into his eyes, I could see his eyes sparkle with proudness and adoration. I couldn’t help but smile as I allowed myself to relax against him while remaining on my knees. Leaning against his leg, I reached back to his hand that was still tangled in my silky hair and placed my own over it, stroking the back of his clenched fist with the tips of my fingers.

God what has happened to me? Why was I so eager to let him man-handle me like that? I would have stabbed anyone who tried to do what he did. He may be my husband by law, but that didn’t mean I had to be so eager to let him use me so easily.

‘It’s because you’re nothing but a little whore.’

That stupid little voice was still there after all this time. A stern reminder as to why I clung onto the single life.

Chewing my bottom lip, I averted my gaze from Nikolai as I let my hands drop to my lap. Out of habit, I started to fidget with my fingers as the intrusive thoughts started to filter in.

Snap! Snap! Snap!

CHAPTER 10

Nikolai

Our moment of solacewas short lived, too short. I could feel my eyebrows furrow with concern when I saw the shift in Angel.

She was fine one moment, living in the high, then like a flipped switch, she shut down almost.

Did she regret what just happened? I might have been stern and rough with her, but she could have stopped it any time.

Releasing her hair, I reached down and picked her up to pull her into my lap when she started to snap at some kind of rubber band on her wrist. “Hey, what’s wrong?” It was hard to not sound concerned as I grasped her chin and tilted her head up at me. “Did I push you too far?”

“What? No, no, no you didn’t, everything was perfect, I loved it.” My concern ebbed a little when her twisted face softened with a small smile full of content. “Don’t worry about me, just you know how we can remember the stupidest things at the worst times. Sorry for ruining our little moment.”

It seemed to be a lot more than that, and I could sense it when she avoided my first question. There was something wrong, and she wasn’t wanting to let me in. “You are my wife, and I am your husband. I know we haven’t had a chance to go through the typical timeline of forming and building a relationship and the feelings and emotions involved with it, but you can trust me as I will you. Whatever is bothering you, I want you to tell me. I want you to let me in. It’s going to take some time from both of us, but I am never going to keep anything from you, and all I ask is the same from you.”
