Jilly:Mmmmm sounds like it.

Killer:Favorite Spotify station? Surf Rock Sunshine.

Jilly:I’ll have to check it out. My go-to is…Post Punk. How old were you when you had your first kiss?

Killer:Fourteen. I had braces. You?

Jilly:Sixteen. One of Dicer’s friends.

Killer:Was it Bent? I’ll murder him.

Jilly:Nah. It was some guy who they don’t hang around with anymore. He was actually my first everything. Dicer found out and lost his shit. It was a big deal between everyone for a week or so.

Killer:He was too old for you.

Jilly:You think everyone is too old for me.

Killer:We’re all too old, and none of us are good enough.

Jilly:Fav food.

Killer:Burgers. Any kind of burger. I love burgers and fries, and I could eat them every day. You?

Jilly:SAME.

Killer:My dad made the world’s best burgers. Hands down. It’s probably one of the things I miss the most about him. Sitting outside, drinking beers while he bbq’d for us. If I was ever granted one more day with him, that would be how I spent it.

Jilly:Could I come? If you were granted one more day? I’d love to meet him and have the world’s best burger.

Killer:Sure. Can I come if you get one more day with Dicer? I have all kinds of shit on you guys that I would love to tell him.

Jilly:Of course. We’d probably go to the lake. It was his favorite. We’d sit out in the sun and swim, then drink beers under the stars.

Killer:Maybe we could combine our days.

Jilly:And then your dad and Dicer would be besties, and they could hang together when our one more day is over.

Killer:Maybe because we know each other now, they know each other.

Jilly:I’d like that. I hate the thought of Dicer being lonely wherever he is.

Killer:Me too. My dad hated being alone. He loved people.

Jilly:I’m glad I asked you about your favorites.

Killer:Same.

Bentley + Killian

Bentley:I asked out that girl, and we’ve seen each other a few times now. I think I’m into her. It’s nice to be with someone who understands that sometimes I’m sad. And she knew Dicer. It helps, somehow.

Killian:That’s great, man. I’m glad it’s working out.

Bentley:I had dinner with Jilly the other night. She seems like she’s doing better lately. I know she talks to you a lot. Thanks for being there for her.

Killian:Of course. She’s great. I like talking to her.

Bentley:She’s been dating some really fucking terrible guy. Cap hates him too. He’s cocky in the worst way, and he treats her like shit. I saw them at a party a couple weeks ago, and I’m pretty sure he was yelling at her. But by the time I got over to them, he’d walked away. She swore it was nothing, but she asked if she could stay with me that night. She won’t tell me anything, but I’m afraid she didn’t want to go back to the sorority house in case he showed up.
