Killian:Whoa, what the fuck? That’s not good. Did you tell Cap?

Bentley:Yeah, he tried to get more info out of her, but she shut him down quick. I’ve asked around campus. He’s some lacrosse superstar. He’s a junior who’d transferred in this year. His buddies are all exactly like him, and I can’t get any straight answers from Jilly.

Killian:I’ll see what I can find out.

Bentley:Normally, I’d try to get Cap to push her for intel, but the two of them got in some gnarly fight the other night when he tried to question her, and now they’re basically not speaking.

Killian:Hmmm. Wonder if she tried to get him to bang another one of her friends?

Bentley:Huh? Nah. I think she threw Caroline in his face.

Killian:Damn, really? Jilly goes for the knees, huh?

Bentley:How do you know about Caroline? Did she text Dicer too?

Killian:No. Caroline hasn’t texted. Jilly told me about her the other day.

Bentley:We’re just wrapping you alllll the way up in our shit. Dicer and Caroline were in LOVE, and I’m pretty sure he would’ve asked her to marry him. But for real? Cap met her first. She was interning at his grandfather’s corporate offices. He invited her for drinks one night, and that’s how she and Dicer got started. Dicer asked Cap a million times if he was okay with him asking her out. Cap said it was cool. But I think he regretted it.

Killian:Life is always more complicated the longer you live it. I’ll reach out to Jilly and see what I can get about this douche she’s dating. I’ll let you know.

Bentley:Thanks, man.

Killian:No problem.

Killian + Jilly

Killer:I heard some unsettling news, prom queen.

Jilly:If this is about my fight with Cap, he can suck a dick.

Killer:We’ll get to your fight with Cap later. First, I want you to tell me about the guy you’re dating. We talk all the time, and you’ve never mentioned him. What gives?

Jilly:If you know about Thurston, then you heard about him from Bent or Cap, which means you heard only the bad things.

Killer:Maybe you should be a criminal justice major. You could be a detective.

Jilly:It’s not rocket science. We only have two people in common. You can only know what they know.

Killer:Well, joke’s on you because I also cyber stalked him yesterday after you tagged him in a post. So very many artful selfies and timer photos. No posts of his friends or family. He looks like he’s allergic to tap water.

Jilly:You all need to calm down. I’m not going to marry him. He’s arm candy. And he’s good in bed.

Killer:Liar. We both know he’s not doing anything for you in bed. Guys like that are selfish as hell. He doesn’t give two shits if you come.

Jilly:He gets the job done.

Killer:Doesn’t make him good.

Jilly:He’s a distraction.

Killer:He’s the wrong kind, right? You said so yourself. Did you find him at Cap’s party? I know he was yelling at you the other night. I know you didn’t want to go home. Now tell me the truth before I reach through this phone and spank you.

Jilly:What kind of spanking we talking here?

Killer:Jillian.

Jilly:Ugh. Fine. Look, it wasn’t a big deal. He was holding court with all his teammates, and I was ready to go. I’d had my fill. I couldn’t pretend I was having fun anymore. He wasn’t ready to leave, and when I told him I was, he went off. He’d been drinking and done some other stuff. Normally, he’s easy to handle.
