In no time at all, the server was presenting us with a steaming pizza pie. The smell of hot, cheesy pizza quickly reached my nose.

“Oh my God, yes,” Addison said, her eyes gleaming with delight.

Now that she was in her second trimester, she hadn’t really been sick as much, and instead of throwing up every morning, she’d been eating voraciously at every meal; feeding the cravings and the baby she was growing inside her.

She pulled a steaming hot slice onto her plate and dug in.

“Mmm.” She closed her eyes and held her belly instinctively as she chewed. “You shouldn’t have brought me here. I’m gonna need this all the time now.”

“Well, I’ll see what I can do.” I chuckled.

I reached over and ran my thumb over her lower lip, wiping some of the tomato sauce off it, and sucked the sauce off my thumb. She gave me a longing look, and reached under the table, running her hand up the inside of my leg. My length immediately responded, straining against my zipper. Damn, what this woman could do to me.

“Careful, love.”

“Or what?” Her eyes twinkled.

“Or I might have to take you into that bathroom and desecrate you.”

“You started it.”

“And I’ll finish it.”

She took another bite of her pizza and giggled. “Food first, I’m starving.”

I watched her as we ate, and she was blissfully the most beautiful glowing woman I’d ever seen, and she was all mine. I was the luckiest man in the world.

EPILOGUE

ADDISON

Five years later…

“Thanks for watching the kids, mom.” I smiled.

“Anytime, sweetie, you should bring my grand babies over more often.” My mother chimed into the phone. “Now don’t let me keep you. Go enjoy your Hawaiian vacation.”

“I will. Tell the kids I love them.”

“Of course. Bye-bye, sweetie.”

“Bye mom.”

I felt Damians arms wrap around me from behind as I looked up.

“Ready?” Damian titled my chin up and kissed me.

“Ready.” I said with a grin. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this.”

“I can think of a few ways to tire you out, love.” Damian chuckled, taking my hand, and guiding me out of our hotel suite.

The door to our room shut behind us as we headed towards the elevator. I gazed at Damian, remembering the last time we were in this elevator together. It had been five years, with tons of vacations and trips all over the world, but this was the first time we’d come back to Hawaii together. Standing here in the same elevator as we had all those years ago, he still had the same effect on me, giving me butterflies even after five years of marriage and two kids. But this time, he was all mine, no games, no pretending, no looming exes. Damian West was all mine, and I was all his.

Damian’s eyes poured over mine. “What are you thinking about, love?”

“Just that I’m so glad we pretended to be married the last time we were here.”

Damian’s eyes twinkled at me, and he looked so handsome. He had slightly more gray in his hair and beard, and it was the sexiest I’d ever seen him. “I was playing the long game.” He smiled.
