My climax builds, meshing with the adrenaline still pumping violently through my veins, until every part of me threatens to shatter apart. I don’t know how long we’ve been in this position, it could be seconds or hours, but I never want it to end. This is a type of euphoria I didn’t know existed, and I want to revel in it for as long as possible.

He pulls me into a searing kiss, biting my bottom lip until I groan against the pain, and rolls his hips up a final time before my orgasm hits me and nearly knocks me out of the air.

“Fuck,” I moan as he continues to roll his hips up to meet me, fucking me through my climax until I’m trembling on top of him.

“Do you trust me?” he says against my mouth, and I nod without opening my eyes. Whatever he’s planning, I know he won’t let me fall. And if he does, I know he’ll catch me. It might be the high of my climax still muddling my thoughts, but it feels true.

Until Elio stops flapping his wings and we plummet into freefall.

My scream dies on the wind as it rushes up past us, whipping my hair wildly around us, but Elio is hardly fazed. He grabs my hips and slams into me deeply a few times until his cock twitches inside me. He pulls me against him as we rush toward the ground, and a growl hits my ears as he pumps me full of warm cum.

My heart is galloping in my chest as the ground draws closer, but I’m almost too lost in the moment to care. From flying to freefalling, this is more than I ever thought possible. And something I’ll only ever be able to experience with Elio.

Miles high in the air or on the ground, I belong to Elio, and he belongs to me.

I toss a concerned look downward, noting the limited amount of space left between us and the stretch of grass below, and a growl sounds in his chest.

“I told you not to worry, Princess.”

He tightens his grip on me and throws his wings out wide, righting us in a few seconds. It isn’t very graceful, but he quickly beats his wings and we begin to gain altitude again.

Now that we’ve both gotten off on this ride, our next stop is Havec.

ChapterFive

AZARIUS

Ihardly feel anything as my bare feet pound against the uneven terrain and my backpack jostles on my shoulders. I should be able to let my mind wander on long trips like this, but it never happens that way. I’m always on high alert, even as the landscape speeds by in a smear, looking for any sign of fucking demons.

Besides, if I let my mind wander, I might let myself be distracted by the thought of Elio and Devyn doing unspeakable things as they soar through the clouds together. Lucky bastard. If I could carry her on my back or in my arms while I run, I would, but it’s too dangerous. We could be seen or attacked. Not to mention, it would be the bumpiest ride of Devyn’s life.

I’d rather not torture her that way, even though I’d enjoy it.

I never see them pass me overhead, which makes me think I’ve somehow stayed in the lead this whole time, but as the city of Havec appears on the horizon and draws closer, I note two figures standing together several yards away from the city outskirts.

Son of a bitch. I should have known better. It doesn’t matter how fast I run, Elio’s much faster in the sky.

I slow down as I approach and jog to join them, huffing heavy breaths from the intense run. Devyn is grinning up at me from beneath the hood of her cloak, which makes me try even harder to steady my uneven breathing, and Elio shoots me a cocky smirk.

“About time you joined us.” He chuckles.

I roll my eyes at him. “About time you fucked off.”

He shoots me a daring look, but the sweet chime of Devyn’s laugh makes it worth it. I sling my bag off my shoulder and tear the zipper open, eager to change into something besides the shorts I’m wearing. It feels strange being the only one not fully dressed out here.

“There’s no need to be salty,” Elio prods as I pull on my shirt. I’m still sticky with sweat, but I don’t care. We need to move quickly, and waiting for me to cool off will only slow us down. “We know you’re fast as shit, Az.”

I say nothing until I’m dressed, begrudgingly pulling on my shoes while the others watch, and when I’m finally ready I gesture toward the cluster of buildings behind them.

“Lead the way ladies.”

Silently, we fall into step the way we did the last time we were here and head toward the edge of the city. Elio leads the way, being that he knows these streets better than the rest of us, with Devyn on his heels. I bring up the rear, keeping my eyes peeled for any movement or anything out of place.

My heart ticks up a beat as we step into the city and I do a quick sweep of our surroundings. No monsters. No movement.

Good.

With any luck we’ll make it to Ignatius’ and out again without any issues, but if something happens, we all know what to do. Elio will grab Devyn and take to the sky, and I'll protect them long enough for them to escape. Then, it’ll be a mad dash out of Havec.
