They pull out at the same time, Javi moving me softly so that I’m on the bed.

Dom collapses on the other side of me, and we take several minutes to catch our breath together, the sound of the city below.

Javi lies on his back, letting out a deep sigh. “Are you going to be okay tomorrow?” he asks. “You look like you’ve been through it. You’re covered in bruises.”

I laugh, my forearm covering my eyes. Even the laughter is enough to make me sore. “I’m fine,” I say. “Except, you know, I might never be able to walk again. But other than that.”

Dom rolls over onto his side, nibbling on my elbow. “Alright. Well, it’s a good thing you don’t have to.”

Javi

Iwakeupwithdaylight streaming through the blinds. It takes me a few seconds to orient myself, but the room smells like sex, and everything that happened the night before suddenly comes flooding back into my head.

They’re both still asleep. Alana is curled around Dom’s body, his arm holding her close. Her hair has come out of her ponytail and it’s splayed out on the pillow.

I don’t want to wake them, so I try to move out of the bed as slowly as I possibly can.

As soon as I’m on my feet, Dom stirs. He opens his eyes and looks at me as Alana rolls over so she can watch me, too. His hands are on her, on her waist. The duvet is rolled down so I can perfectly see his hands, covered in silver rings.

I hate to admit it, but even after last night, I feel a little jealous.

I have no claim over her. She’s not my girlfriend. And I wasn’t supposed to have done any of this. Londyn told me to keep my head down, so of course I immediately went and had sex with a member of the opening band.

I’m going to have to tell her, and I don’t think she’s going to love it. She’s my manager so she’s supposed to clean up my messes, but I don’t know how she’s going to clean this one up.

“I’m going to get dressed. Then we can order some food, if you like?” I ask, looking at my smartwatch. “I have an appointment with my manager at noon, so…”

“Don’t worry. We’ll make ourselves scarce soon. Right?”

Alana looks at him and nods, her eyes half-open. God, she’s beautiful. How do I ask her to stay here while I kick Dom out? I don’t regret anything that happened, I would just rather have the morning after with only her here.

“You two pick whatever you want,” I say. “They have really good chocolate croissants here.”

I walk into the bathroom and look at my reflection in the mirror when I turn on the faucet, my face hidden by the steam. Alana isn’t the only one covered in bruises. We really went hard last night.

At least I don’t have any photoshoots coming soon, I think with a grimace.

I have a shower and the water is hot, almost scalding, as I close my eyes and recall the events of last night. I remember thinking that she was in trouble. I have no idea where that thought came from, but I’m glad it did now.

When I’m out of the shower, I step into the room with a towel wrapped around my waist.

Dom is still on the bed, playing around on his phone.

“Did you order food?” I ask.

Dom looks away from his phone. “Yes,” he says. “It’s going to be a feast.”

I laugh.

“You can afford it, right?” Dom says, a smile on his face.

I wave him off when I see the expression on Alana’s face.

Alana swings her legs to the floor and looks up at me. “Can we talk, Javi?”

“Sure,” I say. “Do you want to go somewhere that…”

“No. I want Dom to hear this too.”
