“A wedding, really, so effing cliché.” Lars, who is larger than life, is also quite animated. Indeed, it’s not hard to see his alpha tendencies take over, but when it comes to Titus, he may be playful but meek and submissive.

“What can I say? I left before he woke up in the morning and called it what it was.”

Lars sets his elbows on the table and drops his chin to his hands. “And then, Sir Luca looked you up?”

“No, after that,” Luca begins, “it was fate. She happened to be my lawyer.”

“And I told him I wouldn’t take his case, but Luc can’t stand not getting his way,” I tease, and he winks at me.

“It’s true,” he concedes, “I called up Penn, and you know, like he could say no to me.”

Lars and Titus are listening to every word as we enjoy dinner at the upstairs restaurant. “Now, that certainly sounds like something Luca would do,” Titus imparts.

“Daddy, you know what we should do?” Lars’s man looks at him with the same love and admiration Luca looks at me.

“Tell me, sweet boy.”

“We should go away for the weekend, like we did last year, all of us.”

This piques my curiosity, and I pay attention to Lars as he tells us of the great trip they took to Laura and Dean’s lake house.

“Did you go?” I ask when Lars tells me of all the trouble they seemed to get into.

“Nah, it wasn’t my scene, no one to share it with.” He pulls me into his space. “This year, it has all changed.” And I look forward to experiencing all the firsts with Luca.

After a tame night of play, he has me in his room at the club.

“You gotta tell me what you’re thinking. I’ve not pushed you, which is hard for me, you must know.”

We’ve not discussed my submission since last Sunday. He’s given me time but for Luca, a week must be the maximum he can take.

I have an answer for him he may not be expecting.

“This.” I point around his room.

With the way his eyes widen, I’ve caught him off guard.

“What do you mean, this?” he clarifies.

“I want this with you. I want it all. You take me places I’ve never thought I could go. I fought this because I was scared. But you make me feel safe, I don’t have to worry with you because we are so much more.”

His fingers land on my cheeks, tenderly cupping them, and he tugs his mouth from mine. “Heaven, I have no restraint right now. Don’t fuck with me if you’re not serious.”

Moving my hands up his body, landing them on his face, his eyes dance around mine. “I’m serious, Luc.”

“Should we talk about it now?” he asks, taking his phone and calling in an order to the restaurant upstairs for coffee. “Do you want this, you and me? Like we’ve been?”

He has another folder in his hand. Luca and his damn folders.

“I do, you take me places I’d never thought I could go, but it’s you, Luc, only you.I want only you.”

He passes the folder to me, and I open it up, a contract inside. “It may seem like this takes out all the fun, but I don’t mess around with being your Dom. And I can tell you this; you choose your limits.”

My eyes roam over the official contract, and the lawyer in me is impressed.
