Andfuckwhat a dance.

Everyone in the company needed to retire. Gabriel’s tongue was the star of the show now, and if he was this good at kissing my mouth…

I moaned. The sound was completely involuntary. I couldn’t make myself do anything right now. Gabriel owned my body and soul for however long he wanted to have them. And still, a small voice told mehe’s holding back.

He smiled when we broke apart, whispering words against my lips. “Nice to meet you, little one.”

My fingers curled into his shoulders. A fresh wave of heat dropped through me, along with desire I couldn’t control. It was good I took the suppressants. I was already going to be hiding a wet spot in my tights.

“Nice to meet you.”

Gabriel carefully stroked a hand over my hair, not messing up the bun it was in. “I know this seems like a lot to navigate, but I hope you know how happy we are.”

“I want to meet everyone. The timing’s not ideal.”

“It’s not. But we’ll make it work.” He leaned in, giving me plenty of time to stop him. I didn’t. This kiss wasn’t as deliberate. It was barely contained. Gabriel gathered me up, my feet lifting off the floor. So much fire rested on the other side of this carefully constructed facade. I felt it. Wanted it. Rehearsal be damned.

A low chuckle vibrated through me, followed by a rich purr. “I need to let you go, or this will be far more complicated.”

“We can do complicated.”

He set me down on my feet once more. “Yes, we can. And I promise we will.”

I whined, my still-sleepy Omega brain craving warmth and darkness and cuddles far more than going to class. Gabriel’s purr rose in volume. “I’ll see you very soon.”

“Promise?”

“Yes.”

It was the only thing that allowed me to take a step back. I didn’t look back in case I wasn’t fully in control, and sprinted to the break room to shove the Indian food in the refrigerator.

Some members of the corps entered the studio at the same time I did, and if they noticed Gabriel’s scent on me, they didn’t say anything. Then again, his scent was far more obvious to me than everyone else.

Ash stood in my corner, and two iced coffee cups rested on the floor. Dion was on the other side by Claire. I smirked at him. “You know you’re breaking a cardinal studio rule by changing spots.”

“I know, but it’s still early enough in the season that I hope people will forgive me. Besides, they said it was okay.”

I looked over at Claire and Dion, who grinned at me and pretended ignorance. “I should have known you would be on his side immediately.”

“Oh no,” Claire said, lowering her voice. “We’re onyourside. But he brought you coffee. And considering his scent is all over you, I think we made the right choice.”

“I’m not the only one whose scent is on you,” Ash said quietly, pressing the cold coffee into my hand. “Good.”

Searching his eyes, I didn’t know what I was looking for. Whether there would be some kind of resistance from him about Gabriel and I. Of course there wasn’t. “Thank you for the coffee.”

He reached down and squeezed my hand. “I hope you like it.”

I didn’t take a sip until I was already on the floor, packing my shoes with extra padding. Gel toe padsandwool. Just shy of the padding being too much for my foot and the shoe together.

Blueberry and coffee exploded across my tongue together. My head whipped up to find Ash smothering his laughter. It wasn’t my normal order. I didn’t even know you couldgetblueberry coffee. It was delicious, even if the whole reason was because he wanted to tease me about my scent. “Did you get the same thing?”

“I needed to taste you somehow,” he murmured.

“Oh my god.” A snicker came from behind me. “Dion, don’t even think about it.”

“No idea what you’re talking about, Lo.”

Claire grabbed my hand before the music started. “You seem better. Really. Are you?”
