Seith is mumbling again.

Lenox rolls his eyes.

I walk toward the kitchen. “Where do you keep the tea?”

“I’ll get the tea.” Seith tosses Gloriana’s coat over the back of one of the wooden bar chairs.

“You don’t have to do that. I’ll get what they need.” He’s right in front of me, and I can practically feel the aggressive energy he’s throwing at me. It’s going straight to my clit.

“I’m not debating this.”

“No, really, I’m fine—”

“Sit with your friend, Marybell,” he bites out.

I lift my hands. “You don’t have to be so jerky about it.”

He leans in, smirks. “You like it.”

I flush because he’s reminding me of our intimate encounter.

“Here’s a tip for you, Seith. If you say the magic word more often, you won’t sound like a jerk.”

Seith laughs as he prepares the tea. “The magic word around here isn’t what you think it is.”

I sit back on the couch while he mans the kitchen. Bare-chested. It’s unfortunate the kitchen bar blocks the view of his abs, but I can deal with it only because it allows a view of his flexing biceps as he works. And I’m not the only one. Fleur gazes upon him like she wants to eat him. She could. Nobody can resist her when she turns on her magic.

People say it’s pure charm, a magnetic force she wields. They call her a male eater.

“I’m intrigued,” she says, sounding as if she’s about to sing the sweetest lullaby. “What’s the magic word?”

Seith sets the tray on the table. Steam coming from the dark wildflower tea wafts into the room. It’s pleasant and arousing at the same time. What kind of tea combination is this?

“Pussy,” he says.

“What?” I shriek.

“That’s the magic word.” Seith walks away with a shrug. He bends at the knees, then hops up, catching the loft floor with one hand, then swinging his body and landing on the loft to sit. Legs dangling, he props himself on his hands behind him, giving me an unobstructed view of his abdominal and chest muscles.

I think I might be drooling.

“Marybell,” he drawls.

“Huh?” I manage to ask breathlessly.

“They brought many trunks. Once you’re done with tea, go outside and pick out which one you’ll bring in, and I’ll have Spence store the rest.”

Gloriana flares out her fan and covers the bottom of her face with it. Eying me, she waggles her eyebrows.

Fleur’s eyeing the lycan. Does she want him? If she wants him, she can have him. I’d return with Gloriana.

I pick up my cup of tea and sip. The thought of returning to the McMar clan sits in my belly as bad as the tea. I almost spit it out.

“Sugar?” I ask him.

Seith shakes his head. “None.”

“Honey?” Fleur asks.
