“Just all over, that’s all,” I said, kissing his neck as I got up and my muscles protested that decision.

“Wow, you’re bruised,” he said in awe. “I feel like an ass.”

“You are a Dom that likes to deliver some pain. I’ll get a shower and you’ll rub more cream on me and then we’ll go find something to eat. I happen to be starving.”

“God, me too. I need coffee more than air right now.”

I wasn’t the only one sore. As Rick got out of bed, he grimaced like he’d been hit by a truck. “I’m way too old for this.”

“Which part? Fucking or flogging?”

“Both, but I’m planning my second childhood now, so I’ll be good to go. Shower, then coffee and then some Advil for the two of us.”

“That’s a plan.”

We took a long shower filled with kissing and touching. I washed Rick, Rick washed me, and in between there were soapy kisses and a lot of laughter.

The hot water eased my muscles and the cream he spread all over me eased my bruises enough for us to dress.

He brought me loose jeans and a soft cotton shirt. “You thought of everything.”

“I figured you’d be sore.”

I was grateful and loved how considerate he was. “Did you know you were going on the stage?”

“No! God, no, but I was gonna fuck the hell out of you anyway.”

“Oh, sure, sure,” I said with a laugh. There was a knock on the door and that made me jump.

“I saw Joel coming,” Rick informed me, heading to the door.

When he opened it, Joel stood grinning. “Hey guys! Boy howdy, eve’ybody’s talkin’ up a storm ‘bout that show!”

“Our show?” It seemed Rick couldn’t believe it.

“Sure thin’! You walloped Kan!”

I laughed as I hugged Joel quickly. “Y’all doin’ it again?”

“Next time, maybe, Joel,” Rick said, then lifted my shirt to show Joel the bruises. “I feel like dirt.”

“Why?” he asked sincerely. “It’s what he wan’ed! Guys get it worse ‘an ‘im all the time here.”

Rick smiled in thanks. “Good to know.”

“Yer still dancin’, ain’t ya?”

“Yes, Joel. It might not be quite as energetic, but I’ll dance. What’s the food situation look like this morning?”

“Damon’s ‘bout to barbecue. I got fruit and such from breakfast still. Let me go fetch ‘em.”

“No, Joel, we’ll walk up with you,” Rick said and took my hand. “Ready?”

My stomach growled, giving him the answer. Joel took us to the main house and inside we found Lonnie and Travis at the table, nibbling fruits and breads. We greeted them while sitting at the big table on the bench across from the couple. “How are you feeling this morning?” Lonnie asked me with a knowing grin.

“About like you’d think.”

“I’m a little sore today too, but not from the whipping,” he said, then, when Travis’s jaw dropped, he started to laugh.
