Chapter Seven

Felix woke up with the Prince’s arms around him and his even breathing against his neck. If the next six months were like this, he was definitely okay with that. Nobody had ever washed him, made sure he was dry, rubbed cream all over his body, and cuddled with him under the blanket to sleep for the whole night.

He could get used to this.

He managed to roll over to face the Prince without waking him. Asleep, the strain lines he had around his eyes were smoothed out. Felix wondered why he had those. Perhaps being a Prince was more stressful than he thought.

He let his hands wander a bit to feel the man he’d be spending six months with. He’d only been with a couple this skinny, and it hadn’t bothered him. Bodies were bodies, and it’d be boring if everyone had the same exact type.

He traced a feather tattoo that was slowly drifting over Rainier’s bony hip, and he ran his fingers along the Prince’s side. His ribs made little ridges, and Felix wondered if he tried to gain weight or didn’t care to. He reached behind him to stroke his back. It was smooth except for where his spine was which was bumpy, and he found a lock of hair to start playing with.

Rainier shifted and hugged him closer. “My little Kitten’s antsy. Are you ready to be up?"

“Yeah.”

Rainier stretched a little. “A servant will bring your breakfast soon, so get dressed, okay?”

The Prince said to wear whatever he wanted, and Felix picked a linen shirt and basic trousers. He didn’t want to wear a vest and coat like Rainier did. Like he said, a servant left a tray in the antechamber, and Rainier told Felix he could eat on the couch as long as he was neat.

Rainier sat with him to hold Inky and pet him.

“Aren’t you going to eat?” asked Felix.

“I don’t feel like having breakfast.”

Felix certainly felt like having his. He gnawed his way through the sausages while Inky stared at him.

“What do you have to do today?” Felix asked before he got started on the eggs.

Rainier shrugged. “Lunch and dinner with my family. I suppose I’ll have to go riding with them in the afternoon. Mum never takes petitioners when we have them over. I told Mum you’re here, and she’s not happy, but she’ll get over it.”

Felix paused with a forkful of eggs. “You told her?”

“I can’t keep you a secret forever, and I’m certainly not keeping you in my rooms for six months with no sunlight. If you happen to cross paths, she’d wonder why there’s a stranger about.”

“Oh. But she won’t do anything, right?”

“No. We’re fine.”

When he finished eating, Rainier told him he could put the tray in the antechamber. Felix cleaned his teeth and came to sit on Rainier’s lap.

“Cuddle me some more.”

Rainier chuckled as he wrapped his arms around his pet. “You’re such a sweet Kitten.”

Felix rested his head against Rainier’s chest to listen to his heart. He had been a little leery yesterday after what happened with Lance, but the Prince had been so nice to him. It was Lance that had been the whole problem, and he had no reason to fear the Prince.

Felix lifted his head, snaked a hand behind Rainier’s, and drew him a little closer for a kiss. As soon as their lips met, Rainier’s arms tightened around him, and one hand wandered down to squeeze his ass.

“Fuck,” mumbled Felix.

Rainier took that opportunity to slip his tongue in. Felix started to shift, although he kept his mouth against the Prince’s, and he managed to not break the kiss as he straddled Rainier’s lap. The Prince’s stiffening cock nudged his own as it thickened.

It was even better when the Prince reached under his shirt to play with his nipples, and he gently tugged on little balls on either side. Little darts of pleasure shot through him, and he ground his cock against Rainier’s.

“Please…”

“Does my little Kitten feel good?”
