"Is our girl finally ready to lose her V-card?" teases Harper as she places her hand on her chest like a proud mama.

"Wait, haven't you already? How could you resist? I was sure you'd have already after that hot and steamy make out session at Tucker's party," Riley exclaims, sounding surprised.

I lower my head in embarrassment. Although I admire Riley, unlike me, she's more than comfortable with her own sexuality. She often has one-night stands or hook-ups, so it makes me a little uncomfortable to share my own inexperience with her. She's never said or done anything to intentionally embarrass me, but I feel like she doesn't understand my hesitation, especially since none of the girls know my history.

"Maybe not everyone is as ‘free and open’ as you are," Harper replies, clearly trying to take some of the pressure off me.

I look over at her and silently thank her for not telling her sister quite how much actually happened between me and Nate at Tucker's party.

"She means that not everyone is a slut like you," Ava jokes, and runs away laughing.

"Well, this slut is more than happy to show you a thing or two anytime. Especially the things my new man has me doing because. . wow," replies Riley, as she stands fanning herself dramatically.

"Are you going to tell us who this new man is? Are you guys actually dating now?" I ask because, even though Riley has made a few remarks about there being a new man on the scene, she seems to be adamant about not telling us who it is.

She's also very secretive and still seems to be flirting with every other guy we see, so I'm assuming it's nothing more than a friends-with-benefits kind of situation.

"Not yet, but I will tell you this:he's bad in all the best ways," Riley grins, biting her lip dramatically as she sits herself back down.

"Anyway, back to you, Izzy. What's the plan?" questions Harper.

"Well, I've been thinking..." I begin.

The girls and I spend the next hour planning the perfect romantic weekend for Nate and me. We even decide to skip Friday's double gym class and all head into town together to buy candles, food, condoms, and sexy lace lingerie straight from Victoria's Secret. The last two things on the list were Riley's ideas, of course.

Friday comes around, and as planned, we all head into town. Harper shows off her acting skills by giving an Oscar-worthy performance to Mr. Clark, the forty-year-old gym teacher, who clearly has no idea how to deal with crying girls. She manages to convince him that she’s afraid of failing her final exams and needs extra time to study. Ava then embarrasses Mr. Clark even more when she butts in and starts talking about how she thinks it might be that time of the month that is making Harper so emotional.I almost feel sorry for him. Finally, we get what we want when we talk him into believing that it was his idea to send all four of us to help her study anddeal with girl problems. The best part is that he even wrote us a note to give to the receptionist, so we won't get detention for skipping his class.

"Men are so easy to manipulate," Riley grins as we pack our things and leave the gym.

"Is he still looking?" Harper sobs as she snuggles against her sister. Who, to the outside world, seems to be consoling her.

"Nope, we're good." Riley laughs quietly as the gym door closes behind us.

"Great, let's go to town then." Harper smiles, showing absolutely no sign of the tears that were streaming down her face just seconds before. "Wow, I knew you could act, but damn, that was scary," I say in awe.No wonder Riley says Harper has her dad wrapped around her little finger. The poor guy wouldn't stand a chance against those crocodile tears.

We drop the note off at the office and all climb into Riley's car. Not wanting to get caught, we decide that the best thing to do is drive to the mall a few towns over. We text Tucker and Nate, telling them that we're going straight to the twins' house after school. So they don't have to wait for us at the end of the day, and then we are off. When we get there, Ava, the resident fashionista of the group, takes charge and shows us the best places to get everything on our list.Yes, the over-planner that I am, I actually wrote a to-do list on my phone, and I may or may not have titled it the super cryptic sexy time essentials.

First, we go to the Dollar Tree and buy candles, a big bag of rose petals, a huge soft blanket, and some plastic wine glasses. Next, I pick up aCooking for Idiotscookbook, hoping for tips on cooking us both a romantic meal.

Next, we go to Sephora and get makeup, body butter, and bubble baths because, according to Riley, I need to make sure my body isprimed and ready. I discover a small beauty salon and decide to get my eyebrows waxed. I must lose my mind once I'm inside, as Riley manages to convince me I need to get something else done. Before I know it, I'm being led into a side room, where a small woman orders me to take off my panties and bends me like a pretzel as she prepares to wax my bikini line.

"This may hurt. Take a deep breath on the count of three. One...two...," the woman whispers softly before turning into some sort of a sadist and setting about ripping off one wax strip after another from me. By the time she's done, I'm seeing stars, and not in a good way. She offers me a cold, creamy wipe to stop the burning, but fuck me, I swear she ripped off my vagina too, and no amount of cream can help with that.Damn, that burns. Why would anyone do that to themselves?

"I'll give you some privacy, so you can get dressed," the woman says again in her sweet, soft tone.Give me some privacy? She's just had my legs up to my chest, her hands spreading my skin in all directions, and her head so close to my opening that she can probably see what I had for lunch. But of course, let's give me some privacy so I can put on my underwear and jeans.

"I hate you," I hiss to Riley as I snatch my bag out of her hands and go to pay, walking like I've suddenly turned into a cowboy. "Yeah, but you're going to love me, and so is Nate, come tomorrow night." Riley smirks.

"So where are the rest of the girls?" I ask, as I notice Ava and Harper have left.

"I told them you might not want to walk too much, so they're meeting us at Starbucks. In the meantime, they went out to get a few things that we all know you're too embarrassed to buy yourself," Riley informs me as she grabs my arm, pulling me in the right direction.

I walk in alone, order all four of us our usual drinks, and find a table. Riley left for a few minutes after receiving a mysterious phone call and signals for me to go in, and she'll join me soon. I can see her smiling through the window as she paces up and down. I'm assuming it's her new secret boyfriend, whom she refuses to tell us anything about, on the other end of the call. I see Harper and call out to her. She and Ava come over to me and beam when they realize I've already gotten them their drinks.

"Soo... Wanna see what we got?" Ava grins cheekily as she hands me a black bag.

"Maybe we should move to the booth over there," Harper suggests. I look where she's pointing and realize it's right in the corner of the café, pretty dark and secluded, with hardly anyone around.Damn, this can't be good if Harper thinks we need this much privacy for whatever is in this bag.

Riley comes in, and we wave her over to let her know we're changing tables.
