"Listen,I don't want any trouble," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "If you let me go, I'll just ride on out of here and we can forget this ever happened."

Maliceand his crew exchanged glances, and I could tell they were considering my offer. But just as I thought they might let me go, Country spoke up.

"Sorry, but we can't just let you walk away. We have orders to bring you in, by force if we have to," he said, his hand inching towards the gun on his hip.

My heart sankas I realized that I was in deeper trouble than I had thought. I took a deep breath and prepared for the worse.I was faced with two choices: fight the men or find a way to get past them and reach Catalina at the same time. Opting for the latter, I leaned the bike's head to the left. With the men surrounding me, I couldn't back up and could only move forward. They knew they had the upper hand, so I addressed the Sergeant while tilting my head.

"I'm headedup to Nashville to see Kingpin."

"No, you're not,"he replied sternly. "Jameson's got a contract out on you. We're taking you in."

"I'll be doingthat myself. I ain't got nothing to hide," I responded firmly.

"Lookslike you've got plenty to hide," Country said, eyeing Catalina. Fear crept up my spine as I watched his gaze shift to her.

"Eyes on me,"I gruffly commanded. "She's got nothing to do with this."

His eyes met mine, narrowing with dislike. "I'd beg to differ."

"Listen,we don't want to hurt the girl. So just save us the trouble and come with us," Country said, attempting to defuse the situation.

I closedmy eyes and let out a sigh. "I understand what you're doing, but we really need to get on our way."

Revving up the bike,I watched as they all took a step back. "You're making this harder than it has to be," Malice stated.

"I'm doingwhat I need to do to make sure that girl is safe," I said determinedly, before revving the engine and suddenly shooting off. With a swift kick at Tires, who was standing a little too close, I caught them all by surprise as I swerved the bike around. They all headed towards Catalina, but she dropped everything she held in her hands and jumped onto the back of the bike before they could get to her. As I sped away, I glanced back at the men who were jumping on their bikes and gearing themselves up for pursuit.

“Shit!”I cursed, my grip tightening on the handles as I yelled out to Catalina to hold on tight.

I knew that we were in for a wild ride as we raced down the road with the sound of our pursuers growing louder behind us. The wind whipped past us, tugging at our clothes and hair as we leaned into the curves. I could feel Catalina's grip tighten around my waist as we picked up speed, the adrenaline pumping through our veins.

I glanced backat the RBMC riders and saw that they were gaining on us, their bikes roaring louder and louder as they closed in. I knew we couldn't outrun them forever, so I had to come up with a plan. I scanned the area for any potential escape routes or hiding spots, but we were out in the open with no cover in sight.

As we approacheda fork in the road, I made a split-second decision and veered left, hoping to throw off our pursuers. The move caught them off guard, and we quickly pulled ahead. But I could hear the revving of their engines as they pushed their bikes to the limit, determined to catch us.

I knewwe couldn't keep this up for much longer. Thinking quickly, I remembered a trick my dad had taught me when we used to ride together. I began to weave back and forth across the road, making it difficult for our pursuers to maintain their speed and balance. It was risky, but it seemed to be working.

We finally reacheda small stretch of woods, and I took a sharp turn off the road, crashing through the underbrush. I could hear the RBMC riders struggling to keep up behind us, and I knew that we had a chance to lose them. We raced through the trees, dodging branches and dips in the ground, until we finally came toanother back road.

I turned to Catalina, panting heavily, and saw the look of relief on her face. We had made it out alive, but we both knew that the danger wasn't over yet. We had to keep moving and stay one step ahead of our pursuers if we wanted to survive.

These guys wererelentless and wouldn't stop until they had me in their grasp. I knew they were already contacting more Bastards, and before long, the entire MC would be after us. Hiding from them was not an option. My brothers were skilled hunters and could track us down in no time.

I realizedthat we wouldn't be able to make it to Nashville. It was too risky. I had to make a quick decision on our next move. South was out of the question since it would take us straight to Louisiana, and I wasn't ready to go home just yet. Going west towards Arkansas was also not an option since Animal was probably already aware of our situation.

That leftus with only one option - to go through Missouri. We hadn't established any connections there yet, so we could lay low until we figured out our next move. But the ultimate destination was Vegas. Riddick was the only person I could trust to help us out of this mess. It was a long shot, but it was worth a try.

However,it wasn't going to be easy. We were at least three days away from Vegas, and time was not on our side. We had to keep moving and avoid any confrontations with the Bastards gang. Every second counted, and I knew that I had to stay alert and focused if we were going to make it out of this alive.

MACABRE

I wasgrateful to Jameson for taking me back, and Belle and I were both happy to settle down. However, being a Bastard came with responsibilities, and Jameson had appointed me as the club's Tracker, just like my father before me. He had tasked me with finding a man who seemed to be unaware of the danger he had gotten himself into. As I tracked him down, I stumbled upon some interesting information and found the cartels were also after him. While I was ordered to bring him in alive, El Colectivo wanted the girl with him dead. This led me to believe that her father was already dead, and they were after the payout.

Despite being one step behind him every time, I finally got a lead when I learned that the last person he had contacted was Blow, the VP of the Central Texas Chapter.Scorn and Powertrain had been to his place last night, before I was assigned to this job, which looked like whoever had been there had removed the bodies and left the mess. They didn’t want to be linked to any crimes, but we werent’ stupid.

I’d gone to Catalina Solano’s house first. Enrique Solano had become a ghost and nowhere knew of his whereabouts. It had been months and he hadn’t shown his face which meant one of two things, he was really good at hiding, or the Colombian Mafia had found him. And if that were the case, he was a dead man.
