“My dad and Gina are coming with lunch in a little bit. It will be a good break. Oh, that reminds me.” I pulled out my phone and scrolled down the video I’d saved. “Good Morning, Arizonawas on at Dad and Gina’s house when I ran over there this morning. They were doing a report on the upcoming election on a street corner in front of all the political signs, and they got newsraided. I found it on YouTube so I could show you.”

“Anyone we know?”

“You tell me.”

Denver peered at the screen, and I watched him, waiting for the moment of recognition.

His face broke out into the hugest smile. “Is that Hector and Jennifer pretending to look lost?”

“It is. They’re such dorks, I love it.”

Denver pulled me into a hug. “Thank you. That’s so random that you saw it.”

“A little newsraider miracle, just for you.” And for me. Denver did so many sweet things for me that I could never keep up. I’d keep trying to get even, though. As far as battles went, it was a pretty noble cause.
