Adam laughed. “Right! Like I didn’t even know I had this much stuff to begin with. Sam must have thought we’d be here for a year, not a week or so.”

Lucas shook his head. “I guess there’s something to being prepared for anything.”

“I’m pretty sure he packed for the zombie apocalypse.”

With a groan, Lucas sank onto the side of the bed. “Don’t tell me—”

“Nash wants to watch zombie movies after his nap,” Adam informed Lucas. “I had to agree just to get him to close his eyes!” It wasn’t Adam’s fault. Lucas had left Adam and Nash alone together as he spoke to Lincoln and Carson and Nash had whined at him. Of course, Adam was going to agree to watching awesome zombie movies!

“I wonder how many pills it’ll take to knock him out for the whole night,” Lucas mumbled.

Shifting closer so that he was between Lucas’s knees, Adam smiled. “You’d never do that. You might not be Nash’s Daddy, but you’re too good of a man to drug anyone.”

“You’re right,” Lucas said. “But zombies?”

“Zombies,” Adam repeated.

“Fine. But talking about Daddies,” Lucas said as he ran his palms up the backs of Adam’s legs. “I see that you have some of your stuff with you.”

“I didn’t ask for any of that! Sam packed it!”

“I wish you’d felt comfortable enough to have asked on your own,” Lucas told him.

“We’re supposed to be taking care of Nash.”

“We can do that and take care of you,” Lucas responded.

Adam didn’t want to be a selfish boy though. “I’m fine—”

“I’m getting tired of both my boys telling me they’re fine. I know you are, sweetheart. This isn’t about anything other than exploring your little side together.” Lucas gripped the backs of his thighs firmly.

“But Nash—”

“Is this about Nash or about you being nervous to share your little side with us?”

Damn, but Lucas knew how to read him so well already. “Maybe both?”

“Yes, I agree. Don’t you think it will help Nash be comfortable here if he sees that you are?”

Adam hadn’t thought about it that way. “I guess.”

“So, let’s address your nervousness,” Lucas said. “Both Nash and I know that you’re a little. We started a relationship with this knowledge.”

“True.”

“Which means you have no reason to hide anything from us.”

“I…I know that.”

Reaching behind him, Lucas picked up Adam’s pillow before he pulled out the blue blankie that Adam had hidden inside.

Adam blushed and dropped his chin.

“That means you don’t have to hide your blanket from us,” Lucas said.

Adam accepted his blankie before bringing it up to his face and giving it his familiar snuffle that always relaxed him.

“Adorable,” Lucas commented.
