She knew Hedda would come in a heartbeat, but Hedda was smaller than her. She wouldn’t be able to do anything.

Miles was the only person she could call. He was massive with muscles. He probably knew people that could help. She had no clue if he picked up if he would even get here in time, but she hoped he would.

Storm called Miles again, hoping he would pick up this time. She sent a tiny prayer as tears streamed down her face.

It went to voicemail again.

She sobbed, trying to get herself together so she could say something. She needed to tell him what was happening so he could do something about it.

If he listened to the voicemail.

She had no clue if he would, but she needed to believe he would.

A huge bang sounded throughout her apartment, making her scream.

“Where are you, bitch?” a different man yelled.

“M-Miles,” she stuttered. “P-Please. I n-need h-h-help.”

The man yelled again, getting closer, and Storm tried unsuccessfully to quiet her crying.

The men broke the bathroom door down and Storm screamed again.

“G-Get a-away!” she yelled.

She tried to back up to put more space between them, but the guy on the left grabbed her wrist and pulled her forward. Another scream sounded in the bathroom as she dropped her phone.

“Let go of me!” she screamed at them.

The guy tightened his arms around her, squeezing her too tight.

“Miles!” she yelled into the phone, hoping he would listen to it. “Bald men! Muscular, tattoos-”

The other guy punched her in the face, making her groan in pain.

“Shut up, bitch!” he yelled.

“Just knock her out,” the man who was holding her said. “We don’t need her making a commotion outside.”

“Not that anyone would do anything. We paid everyone off.”

“Miles! Save me!” she yelled right before she got hit on the head, knocking her out.

Groaning, she tried to move her neck, but it was so stiff. Everything hurt.

What happened?She thought.

She tried to move her hands, but something was tied around them, keeping them in place. What? Why was she tied to a chair?

“She’s waking up,” a female voice said.

“Look who’s finally waking up. Poor Storm. You’re such an unlucky girl,” a male said.
