A tiny bit of myLight Blueperfume on my neck. A hair tie and a watch on my wrist. A wallet in my inner pocket, and I am good to go.

There is only one thing on my mind as I walk to Ronan’s place. How in the actual fuck could I get so lucky? I looked for this girl for two whole years, and she turns up on my doorstep? And not only that, but she wants me. Me, skinny, scrawny Noah. The emo, the outcast…

As I reach her door, I thank my lucky stars, even though I doubt their existence.

I ring her interphone, and she answers right away.

“I’ll be down in a minute.”Click.

I step away from the wall, and walk to my car, waiting for her. The doors open and she slowly steps out.

“Hello, Noah,” she says sweetly, looking at me, swiping her hair to the side.

Holy fuck, she’s gorgeous.

Make you feel my love - Adele

Ronan

“Hello, Noah.” I say, swiping my hair off of my shoulder, lifting my eyes up to him.

I stop dead in my tracks. He looks so gorgeous. His long, dark hair is gliding down his back, swaying in the chilly September wind. My heart does this weird pitter-patter at the sight of it. His hair is my favorite thing in the world.

He is wearing a suit. Black suit and a black shirt underneath, top two buttons open, showing a little bit of his heavily tattooed chest. The suit clutches his lean limbs so amazingly, looking like it was made for him.

I am begging my legs to start working, forcing my knees to bend and make a step, but I am glued to this spot. My eyes glued to him. My breath lodged in my throat. I feel like I am drowning, but at the same time, I feel like I am flying. I never knew that was even possible, to feel so captured, yet so free at the same time.

Wanting something, someone, so much it literally hurts, so freeing and warm, all at once.

He smiles softly at me, his eyes traveling up and down my body. Does he like what he sees? Does he like me?

Finally, he breaks the silence and eats up the space between us in a few long strides. His eyes roam all over my face, as his cold fingers cup my cheek, and another arm firmly holds my waist. A small smirk graces his lips, before he bends down and whispers softly over my mouth.

“I have seen many women in my life, Ronan, and none of them…” He scrunches his eyebrows, slightly shaking his head, “None of them compare to you... None.”

And then he kisses me. He kisses me like he longs for the taste of my lips, like I am the air he so desperately needs to survive. He kisses me like it’s the last time he will ever get the chance to do it.

Slowly, he lifts his face away from mine, and swipes under my lower lip, cleaning the lip gloss that smudged. There is nothing else I see. Just him. There is no one else but us on the street. There are no honking cars or screaming children. There is only us, enveloped in his lemony scent and swirls of copper and black hair. His smile is so gentle as he is looking at me, as he is holding me, and lifting my eyes from his lips to his own, I see myself.

I see my own reflection in his irises. My cheeks look flushed, my lips are swollen, but my eyes, they speak a story of great love. They are glassy and my pupils are pouring out the feelings I forcefully keep hidden. And in that moment I realize how gone I actually am. There is no turning back for me. This is it for me.Heiseverything. He is everything, and I intentionally avoided him for two years.

Cupping his cheek, I pull him down and kiss him again, relishing in everything he gives me. I swipe my tongue across his lips, tasting my cherry lip gloss on them. Gosh, I love this man.

I love this man.

Opening my eyes, I brush my nose against his.

“You are so beautiful, Noah.” I whisper.

“Beautiful?”

“Yes. You are.” I nod my head, running my fingers through his hair. “So beautiful, and so mine.”

He smiles at my words and takes my hand. My legs start working again as he pulls me to his car.

“Nobody’s ever called me that before. Beautiful and theirs.”
