I lowered my head and waited with her as they ran away, shooting daggers at us as they escaped.

“Getting antsy?” Vic asked, my eyes darting to her. Even though the majority of her face was covered by my brother’s mask, those piercing eyes showed through and making my heart stop in my chest.

Still, after everything, I couldn’t believe that she was by my side. That she allowed me to touch her in a way I only dreamed of. That she trusted me as nuch as she did.

I won’t let her down. She was my reason for existing, to let her down would be unthinkable.

I was scared to think of the after. Of what would happen when we left the walls of this island. Would she move on? Would she leave me, only to exist as a distant memory in her mind?

Sirens blared overhead, making us jump. That same haunting sound that made the blood rush through my veins now pushing fear to take hold of me.

“Three hours remaining. Three hours remaining. Six Hiders still alive. Six Hiders still alive.”

We both shared a look. One of those was Vic’s.And if we didn’t find them soon, she would be out of luck. But that wasn’t the only problem we faced in the final hours…

These last few hours would be the most dangerous. Once all the Ghosts were found, the Killers would start turning on themselves. Each of them hoping to knock others off the scoreboard. They were not supposed to, and many faced consequences, but most were willing to risk it to be number one.

“We have to get someplace safe,” I said and grabbed onto Vic’s wrist. “Just long enough so we can hide out and plan out our next moves.”

“Just enough time to get our shit together,” Vic said. “Remember your promise.”

“I’d never forget,” I said, forcing as much sincerity into my tone as possible.

The corner of her eyes crinkled playfully.

“Well, the Killers will be forced to comb the park searching for the last Ghosts,” she said, looking around. “So that means there aren’t many places we can—oh!”

Her sentence ended with a light huff of a laugh. I followed her line of sight, looking off into the distance at the Ferris wheel. Its slow-moving boxes swayed in the wind slightly, causing my stomach to twist.

But it was perfect. Not only would it take about thirty minutes to go all around, but it would also give us the perfect view of the entire island, and we could watch as the Ghosts ran to their places.

“Let’s go find you a Hider,” I said, wrapping my arm over her shoulders.

“I have something better planned,” she said, the smile obvious in her voice.

“Fuck, do you know how long I’ve waited to taste your pussy?” Vic asked as she kneeled between my legs, her tongue running the length of my slit.

I just about came right then and there. Here was Vic, a girl akin to the goddess Aphrodite, kneeling atmyfeet and givingmepleasure.

I let out a groan, my hips bucking when she teased my clit with her tongue. “I don’t deserve this,” I panted. “Please, Vic, let me please you. Use me how you want, you don’t have to waste time—”

A sharp slap of her palm against my clit had a sharp yelp coming from my lips and my body jerking. The box we were in tilted along with me, causing my heart to catch in my throat.

“You aren’t to tellmehow I'm wastingmytime,” she growled. “If I want to eat my pet’s cunt out until they’re shaking, I damn well should be able to do it.”

She leaned toward the soft skin of my thigh, her hot breath brushing across it.

I don’t know when I decided I was comfortable being almost completely naked in the area, with thousands if not millions of people watching me, but there was little I would go against Vic with.

If she told me to get on my knees and beg, to bark like a dog, or even spread myself while she spit on me, I would fucking do it.

“You’re right,” I breathed. When she sank her teeth into my thigh, I let out a pained moan. She pulled away to drag her tongue along the marks.

“Say sorry,” she commanded.

“Sorry,” I said quickly, spreading my legs even wider for her. “I’msorry.”
