He’s wearing a Drexton Hall fleece zip up, and his jeans are hugging his thick thighs.

Jeans and ice skates. Who knew that could be sexy?

“Thought it would be fun. Free skate, huh? I didn’t know you could skate.” He takes the opportunity to do a once over down to my skates.

Don’t think I didn’t notice that! Especially when he’s biting his lower lip. How could I not?

“You sir, are Trouble.” I take off, knowing I can’t out skate him.

He glides backwards next to me keeping with my pace.

“What if you bump into someone?” I point out. “Skating backwards here is not safe.”

There’s a good amount of students skating around. He could injure them or himself.

“You’ll just have to make sure I don’t.” He gives me a cocky smirk.

I don’t know if I want to slap it or press my lips onto it. At this moment, I wish I wanted to slap him more.

I’m blinded, looking at him and not around us to see he’s about to bump into someone. There’s not enough time to warn him. I grab his arm to pull him over just in time before he crashes right into the couple ahead of us. Too busy helping him, I lose my footing, but he’s able to keep me up by holding my waist.

The shock from his touch zaps through my skin. Those little sparks ignite again.

Of course, he finds a way to get his hand under my sweatshirt. Only Nick Miller could find the tiniest bit of access to bare skin.

“See, you got me, and I got you.” Another cocky grin.

I push him off and we skate side by side, matching my strides.

Somehow Alex got Bridget away from the wall and he’s holding her hands helping her skate forward, stopping every few seconds to fix her glasses from falling off her nose.

Greg is trying to get Layla to dance with him in the middle. She’s laughing, and shaking him off. The smile on her face is beaming. She can’t even hide the happiness radiating off her.

The theme tonight is the seventies, as disco music plays over the loudspeaker and a mirrored ball hangs from the ceiling.

“Come on.” Nick takes my hand.

Instinctively, I pull away, but he laces our fingers together and pulls me towards the middle closer to Greg, who’s making a fool out of himself dancing while Layla watches.

As we get closer, Nick pulls me in and spins me around without any warning.

I follow his lead, more because I’m afraid I’ll fall if I don’t.

“Oh my god, I hate you!” I yell over the music trying not to laugh as he pushes me out and brings me back to him in some kind of dance move I have no idea about.

He does it so we’re side by side hands together, on each side, then spins me into his chest without breaking our hands apart. His chest vibrates against my back as his deep laugh rumbles in his lungs before he spins me out again.

“I’m going to fall!” I screech, but Nick braces me to catch my footing.

“Sorry, I had to help my guy out.” He spins me back around again.

I look over to find Layla giving in and dancing with Greg.

Nick continues repeating the same moves.

“This is all I got!” He yells over the loud music.

I’ve given in. I can’t catch my breath from laughing and spinning around. Nick’s moves are much simpler than anyone around us, and I’m just struggling to stay on my feet.
