“Yup.” I nodded and then put four fingers up in the air. I looked around the yard and noticed that Lily was sneaking out of the French doors leading to the living room, adjusting her dress. Andrew followed after her, adjusting his shirt, and I frowned. What had they just gotten up to?

“Four words,” Natasha said, and I just nodded and held one finger up. “First word,” she said, and I nodded again. Lily made her way over to us, a sheepish expression on her face, and I raised a single eyebrow at her questioning what she’d just been up to. She grinned widely and made anOshape with her thumb and index finger and then stuck a finger through theO. My jaw dropped, and I cleared my throat.

“I need a potty break,” I said quickly. “Lily, will you please show me where the restrooms are?”

“Of course.” She giggled, and I practically ran over to her as we made our way inside.

“Oh my gosh, what did you just do with Andrew?” I asked her in hushed tones. “You did not just fuck him, did you?”

“A lady doesn’t kiss and tell.” Lily gave me her most innocent smile, and I glared at her. “Good thing for you I’m not a lady.” She giggled as we walked into the house. “Do you wanna use the restroom first or…”

“Girl, I do not need to use the restroom.” I laughed. “I just needed to get out of playing charades.”

“Oh, makes sense.” She made a face. “I wouldn’t wanna play with Molly, the Meryl Streep of Port Sunshine. Oh wait, I mean the Meryl Streep wannabe.” I burst out laughing at her comments, and then she put her head up in the air and sang, “I’m Molly Streep, many people think I’m as talented as Meryl, but I think I’m slightly better, even though I have no Academy Awards or acting credits under my belt…aside from one porno.”

“Oh, I can’t.” I bent over I was laughing so hard. “You’re so bad.”

“I’m horrible.” She grinned. “It’s my parents’ fault, of course. Sending me to Catholic school and then telling me I couldn’t have a boyfriend.”

“What’s that got to do with Molly Streep?”

“Oh, it doesn’t. I thought you were referring to me just fucking Andrew in Travis’s kitchen.” She winked at me, and my jaw dropped.

“No, you didn’t?” I stared at my best friend. The girl I’d spent many sleepovers with talking about sex with hot men. Something that neither of us was having at the time. “You did?”

“I did.” She grinned. “Not going to lie, it wasn’t amazing, but he asked me out on a date for Friday.”

“And you said?”

“Here’s my number and what time are you picking me up.”

“You did not.” I laughed. “What about Creepy?”

“He’s not my boyfriend.” She shrugged. “He hasn’t taken me out on any dates.”

“But I thought you said he wanted to visit you in Florida?”

“He hasn’t bought any tickets yet.” She shook her head. “So how’s it going with Travis?”

“About as well as it’s going with Harry Styles.”

“You know Harry Styles?” She gasped, and I just stared at her. Sometimes Lily was far too gullible.

“No, Lily, I don’t know him. I have no chance with him, and I’m starting to feel like I have no chance with Travis, either. He’s barely spoken to me all night.” I pretended to cry. “Do I not look hot or what?”

“Girl, you look amazing.” Lily looked me up and down. “If I was a lesbian, I’d go for you.”

“Thanks, Lily. If I was a lesbian, I’d go for you, too.” I looked out the French doors at Travis. “But I love men too much. I just want to feel his muscular body next to mine.”

“I have an idea,” Lily said, her eyes glowing mischievously. “A way for you and Travis to get closer without you adding too much pressure in person.”

“If you tell me to sneak upstairs to his room and lay in his bed naked, I’m going to have to tell you no.” I giggled. “I mean, I would love to think that was something I could do, but I don’t think I’m that brave.”

“No, silly.” Lily shook her head. “That would be crazy. I was thinking maybe you could text him.”

“Text him?” I raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”

“Like a sext…” She giggled. “It’s surprisingly fun and sexy. Even Creepy doesn’t seem so bad when we’re sexting.”
