“Well, just ten minutes ago you didn’t even know if you wanted to be with me.”
“That’s not true,” I said.
“Well, you were sure acting like it.”
“Well, I just wanted to make sure—”
“That I’m yours?” he said.
“Yeah, I guess so.” I smiled at him, laughing giddily. “I do love you, you know, Chandler. I think it’s always been you for me.”
“And it’s always been you for me,” he said, grasping my hands. “We are each other’s person.”
“You’re my lobster,” I said, touching his nose, and he wrinkled.
“You’re a lobster? What does that mean?”
“Oh boy,” I said. “I think I see a movie night coming up in our future.”
“I think I see many movie nights coming up in our future,” he said. “I love you, Chelsea.”
“I love you, too, Chandler. Forever and ever.”
