My name is Mindy Hilton and I work as a junior copywriter for the infamous and gorgeous Reed Bryon AKA The Ladies Man of New York City at his ad agency. He’s charismatic, charming, snarky and ‘slap-me-in-the-face-and-call-me-a-duck’ handsome.
Not that he knows I exist. I don’t think we’ve ever had a conversation.
But I know ALL about him.
And his antics.
You see I run a podcast at night called, The Romance Code, where people anonymously call in and tell me their juicy bad dating stories. And let’s just say Reed Bryon was called out in a big way. And the anonymous caller wants me to help her bring him down. Of course I say yes.
I didn’t anticipate that I win a company wide competition for a new slogan and be thrust into Mr. Bryon’s company. Or the fact that his gorgeous hazel brown eyes would finally meet mine and make my heart go thump and his hands go up.
Now I’m in a complicated position. I’m in his apartment on a “work date,” but I’m also investigating for my anonymous caller.
What could possibly go wrong?
Just about everything. It went as badly as you think it did.
And I’m not sure if I’m the biggest breaker of the romance code of them all.
