“Well, I will make a plan for it, then.” Travis grinned. “I suppose I should invite Andrew as well.”

“Oh yeah, that would be cool,” I said, smiling. “Lily would like that. I guess we should add another man for Natasha.”

“Hmm.” Travis frowned. “I suppose the ratio of male to female is off.” He ran his fingers through his hair. “I’ll have to think of someone else to add.”

“Sounds good.” I grinned at him. “I’m also up for sharing a tent, if need be.” I patted my dress down and giggled lightly.

“I’ll keep that in mind.” His eyes locked with mine, and he smiled warmly. “We may all very well have to share tents.” He sipped more of his beer and crushed the empty can in his hands. “Excuse me, my beer is done. I’m going to get another.”

“Sounds good.” I beamed and watched him walk away. “What?” I stared at Polly, who was shaking her head at me.

“Stop flirting with Travis, Chelsea.”

“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes. “I’m not even interested in him. In fact, I’m going to go home now. I’m feeling tired.”

“You are?” She sounded surprised. “I thought you’d try and close out the party.”

“Why on Earth would I want to do that?” I shrugged and feigned a yawn. “I’m tired, and I want to go to bed. I was only here to get some free alcohol. Why on Earth would I be interested in Travis, when you already told me to stay away from him?”

“Hmm, if you say so.” She frowned slightly, and I stepped forward and gave her a hug.

“Have a good evening, Polly. I’ll call you tomorrow. I’m gonna go and say good night to everyone else.” I stepped back and walked away from her. I did feel slightly guilty for lying, but it wasn’t like I wanted to. But I wasn’t going to let Polly step in the way of love. It was quite clear to me that Travis wanted me as badly as I wanted him, and if we had to play a little game in the beginning to ensure the others didn’t know about our flirtation, then we would play a little game. In fact, I was quite looking forward to it.

Excitement poured through me as I opened my closet drawer. I needed to find a sexy outfit. Something that made me look hot, but not cheap. I wanted the photo I sent Travis to look like a million bucks. I stared at the large bronze clock on my mint green wall. I had to shower, blow dry my hair, do my makeup so I looked stunningly beautiful with what appeared to be minimal makeup, and figure out a pose for the photo in the next hour. I wanted to send the text tonight before I lost my nerve. And I wanted to do it before his party ended and he’d gone to bed.

RING! RING! I grabbed my phone and grinned when I saw Lily’s name on the screen.

“Wassup?” I asked her, surprised she was calling me.

“I need your advice,” she whispered into the phone, and I frowned.

“Why are you whispering?” I asked her in confusion. I pulled out a short black crop-top and held it up; it was sexy and showed my boobs, collarbone, and stomach, but I wondered if it wasn’t too cheap. I wouldn’t be able to wear a bra, and it was likely that my nipples would be showing through the material. I couldn’t tell if that was too much or too little for the first text.

“I’m still at the party,” she continued in her low voice. “Andrew just asked me to go home with him.”

“Ooh.” I grabbed another top from my closet. It was white with lace features with a very low cut. It was sexy without being too revealing. “Are you going?”

“I have a call with Creepy tonight,” she mumbled. “He’s on the West Coast, remember, so we were going to FaceTime when I got home.”

“Hmm.” I held the top up against me in front of the mirror. “But I thought you weren’t into Creepy?”

“I like talking to him,” she said. “Plus, I don’t know how I feel about Andrew.”

“I guess it depends on if you want to have fun with a man in real life or over the phone,” I said, grinning at my reflection. I’d wear this top and some panties. That would send Travis crazy. “Just how bad was Andrew?”

“I mean I didn’t come,” she whispered. “But maybe if I go back to his place, it will be better.”

“Maybe,” I said as I started pulling my clothes off. I needed to have a shower and wash my hair ASAP and then do my makeup. “Can you tell Creepy you’re tired and that you’d rather talk tomorrow?”

“Maybe.” She sighed. “We were going to watch a movie together.”

“What?” I frowned into the phone. “Lily, do you like Creepy?” I paused. “And by the way, what is Creepy’s real name?”

“I don’t wanna say.” She groaned. “I don’t want him to seem too real to everyone.”

“Okay, that makes no sense. But okay.” I turned the water on in the shower and waited for it to get hot. “I say go home with Andrew and see if he can get you off. If not, dump his ass and just go back to phone sex with Creepy.”
