“I love you, James,” I whispered.

“I love you too, Laura.”

Our next kiss intensified. The deep longing inside me was soothed by his lips. I couldn’t stop kissing him, wanting more and needing more, until he pulled away.

My mouth lifted at the corner. “How will you fuck me without waking Foxy?”

He pointed to a barn door behind him I had thought was decorative.

“My bedroom’s behind that door.”

“You planned this?”

“It’s the perfect setup. Our son has his bed, and we have ours.”

“What about the girls? I haven’t seen Kensi.”

“Laila’s in her grandmother’s room, and Kensi’s spending Christmas with Tiff and her family.”

I bit my lower lip. “So, why are we still standing here?”

He relaxed his hold on my hips. “My family wants you for dinner in five minutes.”

“More than you want me for dinner?”

“Definitely not, but it’s a pre-wedding thing I can’t miss. Also, my mother insisted you come.”

I loosened my robe tie. “I guess we’re doing dinner with your family.”

The fabric came apart, and cool air touched my exposed front.

“Laura? What are you doing?”

The robe slipped down my shoulders and fell to the floor, leaving me naked.

“Getting ready,” I said. “For dinner.”

I strolled to my suitcase and bent over for a pair of panties. Eighty-seven percent of couples failed in the foreplay department, and I didn’t want to become part of that statistic.

“Do you want us to be late?”

“Of course not. I want to make sure you don’t lose your appetite after dinner.”

“I doubt that will happen. For the love of my dick, get dressed,” he said in a hushed voice, adjusting his hard-on.

I picked a pair of sexy panties, James fastened my bra, and I slipped into a zip-up dress. I applied a dust of blush to my cheeks. The charcoal mascara brought out my eyes, and the new coral blush I’d bought for the occasion plumped my lips. I walked out of the bathroom in my high heels.

“You look stunning,” he said.

“Wait—I can’t leave Foxy.”

“Lucky for us, I installed a camera.” He pointed to the room’s corner ceiling. “We’ll have eyes on him the entire time, and Emma’s promised to stay here after dinner. It’s a twenty-second walk to the dining room. I timed it. If he opens his eyes, I’ll be there in five through a shortcut.”

I glanced over to Foxy then back to James.

“I promise he’s safe.”

“You’ve really thought this through.”
