“Come claim your date!” the announcer blared…and I came back to the room, blinking at the crowd as the memory slipped away. But Carter had been in it…hadn’t he?

I pulled at the memory, straining to hold on…but it was no use.

Just like every other time, whatever I’d remembered had slipped away, leaving me a blank slate with only a feeling of familiarity and a blaring emptiness that reminded me there was something wrong with my brain.

Carter was coming up the stairs, nothing on his face to suggest he’d noticed I’d slipped off into lala land.

Apparently, when you cost half a million, they got to collect you on stage instead of shuttling you off to the side like the other girls had been.

“You look stunning, sweetheart,” he murmured as he walked in front of me.

I blinked up at him, still in disbelief at what he’d just done.

“I can’t believe you did that. Half a million dollars! Are you insane!” I whisper-yelled, my arms flailing in front of me. His gaze flicked to my breasts popping out of my dress and a sexy smirk spread across his lips.

“Worth every penny,” he mused, his tongue sliding along his lip and melting me into a puddle of lust.

There was a loud cough nearby, and my gaze shot over his shoulder where I realized most of the room was staring at us interestedly.

“Can we get off the stage now?” I hissed, sure at this point the blush in my cheeks was going to become permanent.

“Of course,” he grinned, interlocking our fingers in a way that felt all too right, and leading me off the stage.

We descended the stairs into the side area where other contestants had gone. It was empty, and I looked around, wondering what I was supposed to do now. I was pretty sure the auction dates didn’t start tonight, so I pulled on his grip. “I think I have to go back to work…” I said.

“Not happening, sweetheart. They didn’t put a time limit on the date…so I’m thinking it starts now and ends…not sure when it ends, actually.”

Never. I never want the date to end.

Ignoring the ridiculousness in my head, I allowed him to lead me out into the main room, to the table where the other two were sitting with twin looks of annoyance.

Their faces immediately brightened when they saw me though.

“Hi, Princess,” purred Sebastian, and I shyly said hello back, my gaze getting caught on his lips again.

“Down boy,” Carter warned as he pulled out the chair between him and Jack and helped me into it. His fingers trailed along the bare skin on my back and I shivered. It was a lot. Jack and Sebastian were staring at me while Carter touched me.

A girl could only handle so much.

I leaned against Carter on the bed, his hands kneading and massaging my breasts as Jack licked and sucked at my clit. Sebastian lounged next to us, casually jacking himself off as he watched me cum on his best friend’s tongue…

Whoa there.

“Whatcha thinking about, baby?” Jack murmured in my ear, his breath dancing against my skin.

“That I’m going to embarrass myself in a minute if the three of you keep it up!” I exclaimed, leaning forward so Carter wasn’t touching me anymore.

“Mmmh, this looks good,” I said exaggeratedly, stabbing at the salad in front of me.

Oh. It was actually good. Apparently they got the good food for these fancy functions.

“So what are you going to do for your date?” Jack asked, crossing his arms in front of him and making his arms bulge distractingly, even through his fitted tux.

“It’s a secret. But it’s better than anything you assholes could plan,” drawled Carter.

“I don’t know. I think the best dates are pretty simple, don’t you think, Kennedy?” said Sebastian.

“Lots of things could be fun,” I gulped, weirdly not wanting to play favorites and make Carter worried about the date. I was the one who should be worried. He’d already paid half a million.
