My stubborn smile grew just a little more.

He came back two minutes later with a cup of coffee I knew was perfect, even without tasting it. A taste made me sigh in bliss, and proved me right.

Raf tucked me against his chest, plopping a kiss on my hair. “You looked good out there, terror aside.”

I smiled reluctantly, leaning closer to him. “Thanks for making me do this. Despite all my complaining, I’m glad I’m learning.”

“Of course.” He stole my coffee, taking a quick drink before handing it back. The man didn’t go through nearly as much chocolate as he used to, though he still had a killer sweet tooth. “We’re heading to London in the morning, so we’ve got to get you flying tonight.”

I sighed, and he grinned.

After taking another long sip of the drink, I finally handed it back to him. “Let’s do this.”

He dropped the coffee on the table, scooped me up off the couch, and tossed me over his shoulder. A laugh escaped me as he strode toward the door, and I couldn’t help but check out the view.

Damn, his ass looked good in joggers.

His hand landed on my butt, and squeezed. “I can see your lust, Tater-tot. Reign it in before I’m given no choice but to take you against a tree.”

“Is that supposed to be a threat?”

“Nah, it’s a promise.” He smacked my ass, then set me down on my feet. “Fly for me, Tater-tot, then we’ll make love.”

With a grin, I spread my wings. Those hot, blue eyes ran over me in my demon form, and I took off running again.

Life as a Villin was a hell of a lot of fun.
