I smile at Elliot, running a hand through his blond hair. “I might have told him to go fuck himself. And his entire organization.”
“Fucking hell.” Ethan runs a hand through his black hair, the sun glinting on it and giving it a purple hue. “Yeah, our deal is done alright.”
“We’ll handle Kay,” Elliot says softly. “You made the right decision, okay? You don’t worry about anything.”
I nod, but my heart sinks anyway.
The pressure of the robbery has just gone up a notch. Or ten.
If we fuck this up…there’s no saving us from NSC.

“Wake up, pretty girl.”
As I roll onto my back, reality comes back. I yawn, stretching my stiff limbs and slowly opening my heavy eyelids.
Ethan is standing by the side of the bed, a cup of coffee in his hands.
“Is that for me?” I ask, my voice groggy.
When I couldn’t sleep last night, too scared of Kay’s reaction and the future of the Kings’ crew, the brothers worked all my energy out of me.

Ethan takes a sip from the mug and smiles at me as he swallows.
“Asshole,” I chuckle.
“Get it all out now. I’ve got a surprise for you today and you won’t get to be so bad later.”
I sit up, rubbing my eyes and stretching some more. “A surprise? Not one I’ll like if I don’t get to be bad.”
“You can be as bratty as you want if you can bear the consequences.” He takes another sip, his black eyes on me.
His hair is wet, water pearling at the tips that reach his mid-forehead and his ears.
“You showered without me? How rude.”
“Mi Cielo, I will shower ten times a day if I get to have you naked with me under the water.”
I lick my lips, smiling. “Deal.”
“I guess you’ll need a few showers with the number of times I’m going to come inside your pretty pussy. And on your tits. And your face. And the rest of your body.”
“Sounds like you’re going to exhaust yourself with all that coming.” I drag my body to the side of the bed, letting my feet rest flat on the floor. “Is Elliot here?”
