“And I said yes,” Lou said floating over and wrapping his arms around me.

“Just your typical love story,” I said with a smile.

Chris huffed.

“So, what about you?” I asked. “Are you with anybody?”

“I am with a lot of people. Though, I guess you gay guys have a different definition of a lot. Sex is more like a handshake when it comes to you people, isn’t it?” he said smugly.

I didn’t know how to respond to that. Putting his stupid stereotype aside, as far as I knew, Lou was still a virgin. And the only person I had been with was a girl I thought I was in love with in high school.

“Well, not every gay guy is the same,” I said with a smile. “Just like not everyone who looks like the bad guy in an eighties ski movie is a soul-less asshole.”

Chris gave me an icy stare, chuckled, and then grabbed the bottle and returned to the house.

I watched him go. When he was out of earshot, I turned to Lou.

“I’m sorry. I probably shouldn’t have said that.”

“I don’t know. I liked it. And he does look like the bad guy from an eighties ski movie, doesn’t he.”

“He’s the guy who’s won the ski tournament every year, who the oddball teenagers have to beat to save the lodge.”

Lou laughed. “Oh, you’re right! I can’t believe I’ve never seen that before.”

“It’s the hair. Only an eighties villain would be arrogant enough to wear it like that.”

Lou laughed louder and stared at me.

“What?” I asked smiling back.

“Nothing.”

The two of us continued swimming for a while longer until Lou got out. His underwear clung to his body. Everything about his naked flesh turned me on more than I could have imagined.

I didn’t hide my hard cock as I left the pool. Lou saw it and didn’t look away until my pants were back on. After, he looked up into my eyes making me think things I shouldn’t have.

When we were both dressed, Lou slipped his hand in mine and led me back into the house. With our fingers interlocked, he led me upstairs and into his room.

“We should probably take a shower,” Lou suggested shyly.

“Yeah,” I said excitedly.

“I mean separately,” he said correcting himself with his eyes closed.

“Of course,” I replied disappointed. “And, what about the sleeping arrangements? I could sleep on the floor if you want me to.”

“No, you don’t have to do that.”

“Are you sure? Because I don’t mind.”

“You’re only here because you’re doing me a favor. I can sleep in the library.”

“There’s no bed in there.”

“I can sleep in the chair. It’s pretty comfortable.”

“And what happens if someone goes looking for a book because they can’t sleep. How would you explain that?”
