SARAH
Kael reached for her, and her heart thundered violently in her chest. Sarah never expected to fall for her employer, let alone a Drakonian. She had no idea when things had changed.
When had Kael gone from being distant and cold to warm and passionate?
His arms wrapped around her as he leaned down to capture her lips in a deep, almost desperate kiss. A little nervous and unsure, Sarah hesitated for a moment before she sagged against him, her mouth opening to his.
Her moan of pleasure echoed throughout the space. Kael tightened his grip, eager to explore more of her body. He was huge. And Sarah wasn’t sure that he could ever fit inside her.
Her heart began to thud painfully in her chest again.
But it seemed that Kael could sense her unease easily.
"I'm not going to hurt you," Kael whispered as he kissed her neck.
"I know," Sarah replied breathlessly. She melted into his arms, desperate to allow this man to have his way with her. Her body was on fire, her nipples tight, her skin tingling with pure, raw desire.
And she wanted nothing more than to feel him inside her.
His fingers worked to undo the buttons of her shirt.
"Wait," she whispered, taking a step back.
Kael's hand stopped. He pulled away from her, and his eyes searched hers.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, worry lacing his voice.
"I just ... I need you to slow down," Sarah said. Her heart raced. Her body burned. Her emotions were a jumbled mess of confusion and desire. Why did she feel so nervous?
"Okay," Kael said, but she could tell in the way his voice went hoarse that he was restraining himself.
Sarah was touched by the sweetness in his tone. She smiled at him. When had he become so tender and considerate of her needs?
"I'm ready," she said and closed the small distance between them.
"Are you sure?" he asked, a concerned look on his face as his eyes searched hers. "I don't want to do anything you're not comfortable with."
"I'm sure," Sarah replied. "I want to know what it's like to be with you."
Kael smiled down at her and slowly loosened his grip. He led her off the terrace and inside to the bedroom.
Sarah's hands immediately moved to the hem of his shirt as soon as he shut the bedroom door behind them, a silent invitation for him to take it off. She wanted nothing more than to explore his body with her hands and mouth. He complied with her request, taking off his shirt while never breaking eye contact with her.
Sarah was in awe as she looked over Kael's body and examined its toned curves and ridges. His skin was surprisingly smooth. She felt the heat radiating off him as he stood before her.
She felt a sense of power that she hadn't expected when she realized how weak he made her feel just by being near him. Moving closer to him, she reached out with tentative fingertips and began tracing lines along his broad shoulders. She marveled at the feeling of his muscles tensing beneath her touch.
Kael shuddered as her fingers trailed along his arms. She continued exploring every nook and cranny of Kael's body, from the dip between his shoulder blades up to the hard planes of his chest, before finally dipping lower over the swell of muscle in his abdomen. His breath came out in short gasps as Sarah continued caressing every inch of him until she was satisfied that there were no more secrets hidden beneath this man's skin for her to uncover.
With a smile on her lips, Sarah finally pulled away from Kael just enough so that they were standing only inches apart, allowing herself one last moment to gaze upon this man who had somehow managed to capture not only her heart but also her body and soul.
She moved her hands lower, exploring every inch of Kael's body with a new found confidence. His breathing grew rougher as Sarah's fingers brushed against the waistband of his pants before finally slipping underneath it to explore the softness that lay beneath.
Kael let out a shuddering moan, unable to contain himself any longer as Sarah continued seductively teasing him with each small movement of her fingertips across his skin. He reached out for Sarah, pulling her close and softly pressing his lips against hers in an act of pure desire as they lost themselves in a passionate embrace.
He undressed her slowly, tantalizingly, until she stood naked before him.
Kael lifted Sarah off the ground, pressing her lithe body against his, and carried her to the bed.
