"The pack," Zeke stated. "If Blake wins, he owns everything the Mercer Pack possesses, and he takes leadership of the pack itself. If Cross wins, then he takes everything from Blake, and he also takes leadership of his members."
"The Mercer Pack also has an agreement with the bear clan of peace and mutual support, and that agreement will belong to Blake if he wins, ending any further pursuit by the clan," Parc added.
"What if Cross turned me over to them," Tanner asked.

"He needed a reason to issue the challenge, and he knew Cross would not hand you over," Parc explained.

"Cross has accepted the challenge, and it is to take place in one hour at the agreed-upon location," Parc stated.
“The warehouse?” Zeke asked.
“Yes, the warehouse in the rail yard.”
“The warehouse is often used for paranormal business because it’s private and set back by itself away from traffic and onlookers. It’s also large enough to accommodate a leadership challenge.” Zeke explained to Tanner.
