“We’re so high up.” Her gasps are a little heavier, and I remember her admission of being afraid of heights.

I take a fistful of her hair and yank her head slightly, pulling her back into an arch; her nipples perk up as they graze the cold surface of the glass.

“Do you trust me?” She gives me a hesitant nod. I know that nothing can happen to her from in here, but what if I take her out on the balcony and attempt to test that trust? I decide I’d rather fuck her right here, watching our reflection in the window.

“I’ve got you.”

I take her neck under my lips and suck hard enough to leave marks. She’s begging for more, wriggling her ass into my core and I can’t take it anymore.

I push her head forward into the window, and I feel her tense as my cock finds its rightful place, letting my slickness mix with hers before thrusting myself into her from behind as she falls into oblivion. Every ounce of her body is quaking under my thrusts as I fuck her hard. The sound of our bodies meshing echoes off the walls and entangles with her lustful cries.

“Oh, fuck.” She manages to get out. I focus one hand on her hip, digging deep into her skin, pulling her closer every time I pump into her, and the other is gripping her hair. She steadies herself against the window with one hand as the other reaches behind her to grip my hip.

“What do you think they could see if they could look up at us right now? They’d see my pretty girlfriend getting fucked by her boss, needy for more.” I feel her contract around me as I feather the words onto her skin, her moans louder and louder as she approaches the edge. My Little Rose, about to jump off the cliff.

Both of us reach our climax at the same time, falling over the edge together. Our guttural moans meet as one as her orgasm suffocates her and my hot cum jets inside her.

“So beautiful,” I murmur in her ear.

Sweat drips from the both of us, our breaths are short and heavy. I release my grip on her as she catches her breath. She turns around, pulling my dick out of her warm pleasure as she faces me. I lean over her with one hand up against the window behind her.

“Did I prove myself?” I ask as she forces her gaze to mine. And I’m sure that I did. But I didn’t know that she could be so naughty, her next words striking another fire in me.

“This was a decent start.” She smiles deviously before licking her lips, pleading for round two.

Work isn’t awkward. Except for the time when Jax almost walked in on us again in Callan’s office. That man has impeccable timing.

My time with Callan has been eye-opening. I feel like I can be myself, like I finally have a shot at this thing called life. It’s refreshing. And who knew that all that stupid arguing about what we wanted out of what was supposed to be just a work relationship would turn into us dating each other.

And I won’t lie, I feel some kind of pride fall over me when I think about how I brought this man out of his shell as well. And I’m falling head over heels for him.

I show up to work a few hours late today. I haven’t been feeling well for the last couple of days; probably food poisoning from the hole-in-the-wall burger joint across the street.

And no, I’m not pregnant. Dakota made me take several tests. Plus, I’m still on my birth control.

Callan woke me up softly this morning and told me to take my time, leaving with a kiss on my temple which definitely helped me feel better. When I felt strong enough to get up and get ready, I took it slow in hopes of keeping the vomit down.

I get a few stares as I walk in, probably because I look as bad as I feel, but I don’t let it bother me too much. I notice Callan’s door is closed, and I hear his voice along with another man’s voice, so instead of greeting him, I continue to my office, not wanting to bother the meeting he might be in.

I get settled in my office and log into my computer, taking slow sips of the coffee I poured for myself in the lobby. Two new tickets need to be filed today and some business expenses need to be approved by finance, so I get to work and catch up on emails. After about an hour and a half, there’s a knock on my door. The sound nearly splits my head in two, though the knock itself wasn’t even that loud.

“Come in,” I rasp.

“Hey there, sunshine.” Jax peeks his head through the door and smiles that classic bad-boy grin before his face warps into horror.

“Whoa, you look like you got hit by a car.” His words take me back to a couple months ago, when I actuallydidget hit by a car, which makes me giggle a little. Weirdly enough, I’ve almost entirely forgotten about the car accident. Everything is so good now, and honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me here, to this dealership, to Callan.

“I should have just stayed home. I feel like garbage,” I admit as I rub my fingers over my temples. He gives a small chuckle before sliding into my office.

“Are you preg-”

“No.” I hold my hands up abruptly at him. “People can get sick and not be pregnant, okay?” He laughs at me.
