I kissed my way up over his stubbled jaw and back to those sinful lips. Then I took his mouth in a fierce kiss. I made it clear, in the only way I could right now, that he was the only thing I wanted.
When I finally let him come up for air, he looked at me with a question in his eyes.
“Kiernan?”
I was about to tell him what I was feeling but my phone rang, startling both of us.
It was Korry. Video calling me.
Wiping my hands on the sheet, I reached over to tapdeclinebut I hit the wrong button because the next thing I knew, Korry’s face popped up on screen.

“Special K!” Korry yelled out. “Oh feck, who’s that lying underneath you?”
My face was on fire. “I’ll call you later.”
Then, I hitend.
“Sorry,” I mumbled an apology to Charlie. “I mean, I’m not sorry about this, you and me. The total opposite. Sorry about my brother, because, yeah, awkward. The teasing is only gonna get worse.”
“Teasing?”
“I may have mentioned you a time or two since we met. Or, you know, every day.”
“Really? You told him about me?”
I nodded and he kissed me.
“Special K?” Charlie asked, chuckling.
“He’s ridiculous.”
“And you’re fucking adorable.”
“Me?”
My phone rang again.
“Pain in my arse,” I muttered.
“I can hop in the shower and give you privacy?” Charlie offered.
I shook my head. “We still have forty-five minutes left to snuggle.”
And I wasn’t going to waste a single second.
Charlie kissed me soundly. “Just so you know, you saying the word ‘snuggle’ makes me want to devour you.”
My flush deepened if that were possible.
I went to kiss Charlie back, but the phone kept ringing.
“Something tells me he’s gonna keep calling you until you answer.”
