“Gabriella, tell me who I have to kill, and I will do it,” I growled sternly at her.

She giggled, not quite the reaction I was looking for.

“Oh, I know you will,” she teased, her tears drying up as she smiled.

“That isn’t the issue,” she went on, staring off into the distance and biting her full lower lip with worry.

“I can’t marry you guys,” she said firmly, breaking three collective hearts at the same time.

Stone and Chase exclaimed in dismay, but I kept my protests to myself. Clearly, she did not come to this decision easily, and I was determined to find out why.

“And why is that, darling?” I asked her slowly.

She wrung her hands together nervously and avoided the question.

“It’s for your own good,” she muttered, not meeting my gaze.

“Oh, for god's sake, Gabriella, spit it out. We’re grown ass men capable of handling whatever you think is so devastating,” I bit out, getting more worried by the minute.

Her lower lip quivered, and she was on the verge of bursting into tears again. I regretted my tone, but I was beginning to think a serial killer was hiding in the closet from the way she was acting.

“I don’t think…,” she said haltingly. “I don’t think I can have babies. I know lineage is important to alpha leaders, and I’m not a young omega. I probably missed my chance years ago. I cannot marry you and condemn you to a life without heirs.”

She hung her head in sadness and refused to make eye contact with any of us.

“Is… is that it?” I asked, relief starting to bloom in my chest.

“Well, yes. It’s awful,” she cried out.

“Oh baby, come here,” I gathered her up in a hug, letting out a relieved chuckle. Stone and Chase followed suit and let out chortles of their own.

She pulled back from my arms, indignant at our laughter.

“It’s not funny, guys!” She yelled out, beating her tiny fists against my chest.

I quieted down and pulled back to look her seriously in the eyes.

“Darling, if you wanted us to impregnate you, all you had to do was ask. We can definitely put in a lot more effort,” I grinned, winking at her.

She blushed bright red but continued to protest.

“But what if I’m too old?”

“You are our omega. With or without children, it does not matter. Nothing in this world could ever get in the way of that,” I told her seriously, gazing deep into her eyes.

“Oh,” she said, overwhelmed with the emotion pouring out of me.

“Now, how about that answer?” Chase interjected slyly.

“Yes! Of course, yes!” Gabriella exclaimed, jumping out of my arms to extend her ring finger out.

My heart swelled in my chest, about to burst with pride and happiness.

I took out the ring from the velvet box and carefully placed it on her finger. I sat back in awe, watching the way it sparkled and shined bright on her hand.

I had an omega bride.

And she wanted to be pregnant.
