He nodded.

"She has just discovered that you are a god."

Dagor extended his arms. "I'll take her back to her suite and explain."

Toven shook his head. "What is your connection to Frankie?"

"None," his mate said. "He met her earlier at the bar, and they shared a few drinks. We should take her back to her cabin."

Toven looked conflicted. "You need to eat, Mia. Bridget was very clear about the importance of you getting enough nutrition."

"You didn't eat either," Mia said. "And neither did Frankie, which is probably why she keeps fainting. We can ask for food to be sent to her suite."

Dagor was ready to pry Frankie out of Toven's arms, but as he became aware of the power radiating behind him, he turned around and quickly bowed. "I apologize, Clan Mother. I offered to take Frankie to her cabin, but Toven doesn't trust me with her."

The heir looked at Frankie with concern in her eyes. "What is wrong with the girl?"

"Let me take a look at her." A redheaded female with an authoritative voice approached them.

"Thank you, Bridget," Toven said.

He hadn't addressed her as 'doctor,' and she wasn't wearing a doctor's coat, but it was evident that she was a physician.

Bridget checked Frankie's pulse and lifted her eyelids one at a time. "She might be hypoglycemic."

"What does that mean?" Dagor asked.

"Low blood sugar." The doctor turned to Toven's mate. "Do you know if she suffers from the condition?"

Dagor still did not know what low blood sugar meant. His knowledge of human physiology was less than elementary.

"Not as far as I know," Mia said.

"What's happening?" Frankie murmured.

Dagor released a relieved breath. She was talking, so she wasn't dying.

"You fainted again." Toven smiled at her reassuringly. "We are taking you back to your cabin, and we will have food delivered. The doctor thinks you have low blood sugar."

"I said that I suspect it," the doctor said. "Further tests are needed. Tomorrow morning, I want to see her at the clinic." She turned back to Frankie. "Please call me when you are ready."

"I will."

"Can I at least come with you?" Dagor pleaded.

Toven's mate looked at him with compassion in her eyes. "Of course. I'll have food delivered for you as well."

"Thank you." He bowed to her.

She might be just an immortal, but she was mated to a royal, so perhaps she deserved the same courtesy as the other royals.

When the four of them reached Frankie's cabin, Dagor noted the number. Once Toven and Mia left for the night, he would return to ensure that Frankie was okay.

Humans were so fragile, and she was alone in the suite. She needed someone to take care of her.

As Toven laid Frankie down on the couch, his mate parked her wheelchair, blocking her from Dagor's view.

"Frankie, sweetheart, you should take off this dress. It might be the culprit behind your fainting spells."
