Nicole nods. “Axel, Dy, and Tru.”
“Good. Strong names, Christian,” Two men say at the same time.
“Yes, they are,” I confirm, resting my hand on top of my wife’s hands. I take a deep, shaky breath and look up at my wife. I can feel my men staring at me, her eyes searching mine. I can see the peace in her eyes. She is safe, at peace, and happy after everything she has been through.
“I will give you the world, bambino. All you need to do is ask, and it is yours,” I whisper, keeping my eyes on her. She tilts her head to the side, searching my eyes for a moment. “All I will ever need is my monster,” she replies confidently.
I lean in and connect my lips to hers. She leans into me and closes her eyes. She wants the monster. I will give her the fucking monster. I slowly break the kiss and stand up, grabbing my wife’s arms and forcing her to stand up. I slowly push her back and then guide her out of the room. I hear Ty and all of my men do the same as we make our way out of the building. There is one last thing I need to do for my wife. One last thing that I need to make right.
“Christian, where are we going?” She asks in an amused and concerned voice.
“I have a present for you, my Queen,” I confess softly.
“Good Lord, man, no more presents,” she laughs. I know I go overboard with buying her things, but that is only because I need her, I want her, and I love her, and I want to make sure she knows just how much all those words are true.
“I can’t help it. Like I said, I will give you the world,” I reply softly.
“Christian,” she replies as I push open the back door, and we all file outside.
Nicole stops dead in her tracks. I look at where she is looking.
It took me a while to find the right one.
But after a year, I was finally able to find her the right pony.
I turn and look at my wife. She is crying as she turns and looks up at me. No words are needed. I lift my hands and cup her face. I lean in and reconnect my lips to hers.
She deserves the world, and I plan on giving it to her, but we will settle with the pony for now.
I pull back, and Nicole does the same.
She quickly turns around and heads over to the pony. I follow closely behind her, seeing the box with the bow hanging from the pony’s neck.
Nicole turns and looks at me.
“There is one more present that I have for you,” I confess.
“What?” She asks with a big smile.
I walk over to her side and remove the box from around the pony’s neck. Nicole looks down at the box in my hands as I open it.
“I meant every word I have ever said to you. You are my life; the streets will run red with blood, and I started with them.” I say with pride.
“Who?” She asks.
“It took my men and me a while, but we finally tracked them down. Men like these can’t keep their fucking mouths shut,” I say through gritted teeth.
“Christian,” she whispers.
“All of the men that you shared with me that caused you the most pain have suffered and been killed. I am presenting you with their tongues for tasting you, for whispering lies into your ear. I am presenting you with their dicks, for they used them to cause you harm. You are my Queen. You are my everything. There is nothing I won’t do for you. I know that this does not take away your pain, but I am hoping that this can help you start to heal with me at your side,” I confess to her, needing her to hear every single word that is coming from me.
I watch the tears fall down her face. I lean down and connect my lips to hers.
She is finally starting to see that I will burn the fucking whole world down for her without question.
