I should be shocked but I'm not. He's made no secret of the fact that he sees us as a forever thing. I know some will think it's too soon, but who cares what they think? We're going to be so happy. I don't know that I can speak. I don't bother trying. I tug on his hand until he's standing before me, towering over me like he always does. I look up into those deep green eyes that see me,trulysee me andknowme and a smile breaks over my face.

"Kiss me," I demand, tilting my chin up to make it easier for him. He grins but shakes his head.

"Nope," he says, "not until I get a verbal response, please."

He's lucky I love him.

I laugh and say, "Yes,August. Yes, I will marry you." He pulls a ring box out of his pocket, a deep black velvet box that I can't look away from. He opens it and shows it to me, and my mouth drops open. Inside the box is the most beautiful piece of jewelry I've ever seen. It looks antique, a large princess-cut diamond set in white gold. I hold my hand out for him to put it on me and he grins.

"It was Mom's, from my dad, and it was his mom's before that. Mom says it's the perfect ring for you."

I blink tears out of my eyes and watch as he slides the ring on my finger. "It's gorgeous, Gus, I love it."

"I'm happy to hear that. Mom would've been heartbroken."

And then he's kissing me, finally. I wrap my arms around his neck and go up on my toes to get as close to him as I can. He grins against my mouth and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me with him as he moves back toward our bedroom.

"We have lunch plans," I manage when he moves his mouth to my neck. I don't stop moving though.

"Ah, it's just Drake, he'll understand," Gus says, his mouth moving lower to my cleavage. I arch my back and groan when his hand slides under my sweater and over my bra.

I want more.

"I can't believe we're bailing on him again," I murmur as we make our way toward the bed, kissing and touching hungrily.

"He'll be fine," Gus says against my lips and then we're on the bed fighting with each other's clothes until we're both bare and finally I feel all of him pressed against all of me. I will never get enough of being with him this way. Never.

He rolls us until he's over me then knees my legs apart, settling between them. He rocks his hips against me, grinding his hot hard cock against me. I whimper out his name and he bites my ear.

"How do you feel about kids?" he asks as he grinds against me again. I blink at him and then grin, getting what he's asking me.

"I like kids," I say, licking my lips. "Oscar will have to adjust..."

"Soon?" he asks, still grinding his length against my needy clit. I moan and wrap my legs around his hips bringing him closer to where I need him.

"Why wait?" I ask breathlessly. He grins at me, wicked and hot. Before I can blink, he's inside me, thrusting hard and deep every time, giving me exactly what I need. This isn't going to be a long session for us, we're both too close to the edge already, I can feel it in how he rocks into me with purpose. How he kisses me until we can't breathe.

When we've both reached our climax and we lay there panting together, he kisses me again. "I love you, Elizabeth James. Let's get married soon."

I grin dopily up at him. "I love you, too, August Bennett. I say next month we have a little party. What do you think? Will you meet me at the altar?"

He kisses me hard. "I'd meet you anywhere, angel. Anytime."

"At midnight?" I ask, grinning up at him.

He nods, smiles and kisses me again. "Yes, at midnight. Whatever you want."

I bring his mouth back to mine and murmur, "Just no mistletoe."

"Yes, yes I know, no mistletoe," he insists before kissing me again.

The End
