As soon as I step into the office the next morning, I'm hit by a wall of anxiety. Memories of Logan and I in the supply closet flash through my mind in vivid color, and my cheeks flush red.

I shake my head, trying to banish the thought.

No.

I'm not going to think about that.

I stride through the office, my chin lifted high.

All business today. I'm going to act like nothing happened. Because nothing did happen. Right?

Wrong.

You had sex with him, Bailey.

I clench my jaw, my fingers gripping the strap of my bag a little too tightly. I walk past Logan's desk, my eyes glued straight ahead. Still, I can't help but sneak a glance at him through the glass. And when I do, I freeze.

Damn it.

Logan, is sitting back in his chair. His shirt clings to his muscular build, the top buttons are undone, revealing a teasing glimpse of his chest. He runs a hand through his perfectly styled hair.

He looks so hot today.

I start thinking about the way he pinned me against the closet wall.

It was... God, it was...

No, no, no.

Stop thinking about it.

I take a deep breath and walk away.

One day at a time.

All I have to do is survive one day at a time pretending nothing happened. I can do that. Right?

"Good morning, Bailey."

"Jesus!" I jump back from my desk and drop my bag.

"Easy there." Logan hands me my bag and raises an eyebrow. "Deep in thought?"

I glare at him, snatching my bag back. "Nope."

"Oh, come on... don't be so cold."

“Cold?” I tense up. "I'm not cold. I'm just... busy."

Logan smirks, leaning against my desk. "Busy? You mean avoiding me like the plague?"

I roll my eyes, turning back to my computer screen. "Nope."

He knows I'm trying to act like nothing's happened, but the awkward tension in the air is palpable.

"I'm heading to a meeting today," he says, trying to infuse some normalcy into the conversation. "I'm pitching to one of The Vanderbilts today."

I raise my brows, impressed despite myself. "Really? That's a huge account."
