I couldn’t see Johnny’s expression, but I could hear the grin in his voice. “Not bad for your first nighttime, open-water jump.”
“Yeah,” I agreed. I had to admit, I was both proud and amazed I was still alive.
“Juan!” Johnny called out.
“Huah,” a voice responded two hundred feet to my right.
“Leo!” Johnny called out again.
“I’m here,” rang out from the darkness behind me.
“Alright gentlemen, you’ve all got the satellite coordinates of the yacht. Let’s do this,” Johnny said.
I clicked the button on the sled and followed Johnny as we churned our way through the water.
Hang on, Lily. Just hang on a little longer.
