One couldn’t come into the world through the ocean or sea, but one could die through drowning. And why the fuck should someone die from jumping off a cliff or slitting their wrists?

The fascinating part was when I found out that humans could cause the death of other humans. I always wondered why God decided to give us so much power. It was always amusing for me whenever I remembered that I could take the life of a human, especially a bad human.

When I killed my dad, I felt so powerful, so strong, so satisfied and so feminine. And that was when I decided that I was going to murder every single person that hurt me.

If God didn’t want us to use it, he wouldn’t give us such power.

Sam stood up after about thirty minutes, but I remained seated to watch where he was going. I heard him say goodnight to one of the guys, so I stood up and followed him.

He whistled to the garage, and I followed him till he got to his car. His driver came down to open the door for him, but I jammed the car door before he could enter. He and his driver flinched.

“Umm Hi?” A rhetorical greeting came out of his mouth.

“Hi,” I replied, face hard, voice stern. He and his driver shared eye contact before he slowly gawked at me, eyes widened.

Did he recognize me?

“Are… are you Alex?”

I relaxed my face and grabbed my chest dramatically. “Y’all need to stop guessing me before I introduce myself, you’re just going to make me blush.” I fanned my face, smiling smugly.

His driver opened the car slyly and tried to take something, but I kicked the door, shutting it on his hand. He screamed and even though I knew there were no guards in sight because I settled them, I still glanced around. “Shhh don’t attract attention,” I warned, but he didn’t listen.

He screamed again and I swiftly swiped my knife. He whimpered and grabbed his neck with his other hand, choking before he stopped moving and slid to the floor motionless.

I turned to Sam who immediately fell to his knee. “What was he trying to take anyway?” When he didn’t reply to me, I dipped my head into the window to check. “Ah a gun, he should have just told me.” I threw my hands up in disbelief. “Now back to you…”

“Did Jordan send you?”

I narrowed my eyes as a small smirk played on my lips. “Are you trying to use me to confirm your brother’s suspicion?” If he widened his eyes anymore at this point, they would fall out.

“How did… how did you know?”

“I know, right? Your brother snitched.” He scrunched his face in confusion so I made it easier for him. “I mean Jayden.”

“Jayden would never…”

“Aw when you think he would never and he nevers just like never before.” He wasn’t laughing, he didn’t find me funny —another reason to kill him. “If I were him, I would tell me too. You raped his best friend afterall.”

“Jordan did send you,” he muttered to himself.

“Jordan didn’t send me…” I pointed my knife at him and he sucked in his breath. “I amJordan.” Before he could process anything, I stabbed the knife on his shoulder as he grabbed it with an ear-piercing scream. “You.Will.Attract.Attention,” I seethed, stabbing his other shoulder.

My plan was to give him pain before death, but before that, I had to ask him one question. “Why do you think your dad raped me? Why do you think my dad stole your dad’s money?”

He whimpered, not knowing which shoulder to grab as they were both dripping blood. “I swear I don’t know, I don’t know.”

“Then why did you do it?” I bent to his level. “What about me was so arousing to you? I called you Uncle.”

“Nothing. Oh God I’m sorry, Jordan.”

“No, you’re not. Since you don’t have any useful information for me, you are not needed alive.”

“No, wait wait.”

“You have something for me?”

“I once heard… I once heard my dad tell your dad to do a DNA test.” I stopped and stared at him, trying to process whatever rubbish he was saying.
