Cedric’s face jerked as he clenched his teeth in fury. “She killed your brothers,” he reminded him and I snickered.

“And you killed my mother,” Jayden said and I watched his father’s eyes darkened. “Jordan is the only one I have left and I won’t let anyone take her away from me, not you and not Jordan herself.” He said and I creased my eyebrows in confusion.

“I’m the only one you have left,” Cedric fumed and I huffed. I couldn’t believe he was still acting like a possessive asshole.

Maybe it was just me, but I thought Cedric had some sort of obsessive behavior in him.

“Jordan is the only one I have,” Jayden repeated adamantly.

“I just said I’m the only one you have son.” He snapped in anger, as a drool dropped from the corner of his mouth. “And you are the only one I have too, which means this bitch between us dies.” He cocked the gun again, and just as he pushed the trigger, Jayden pushed his hand and the bullet missed.

One. I counted in my mind and watched from the corner of my eyes as Gideon took a knife from the table with his mouth and placed it on the floor. I smiled as he slid his hands up and down the knife till the ropes cut.

His eyes immediately searched for mine and I nodded at him, all pain fleeing from my body when I had a partner to fight with.

He elbowed the guard beside him and collected the gun. Two guards fired the bullets, but he dodged and fired back, hitting both guards, which left us with four remaining. He hid behind the couch as the remaining armed guard fired their guns at him. I stood up, ignoring Jayden and Cedric who were still fighting for the possession of the gun.

I somersaulted to the table, winced and picked the knife Gideon used earlier. I threw it and it got stuck in the throat of one of the guards who spewed blood and dropped dead.

I smirked. My knife target never missed.

I watched as Cedric pushed Jayden –whose back hit the wall with a whimper, and fired two bullets at me. I dodged and the bullets broke a wine bottle.Two,three.

One of the guards fired a bullet that hit Gideon and as he grabbed his arm, I collected the gun and fired it at the guard. Leaving us with two unarmed guards, Gideon and I faced them each.

I covered my mouth sarcastically when I saw that I had faced the guy who punched me earlier. “What did I tell you?” I asked as he jerked his head in preparation to fight me. “I said run if they free me, but here you are.”

He threw his fist, but I caught it and kneed him in his crotch. He grabbed it and screamed as my knee made contact with his face again. From the corner of my eyes, Gideon snapped the head of the guy with him and I laughed. That was easy, maybe we should have switched. Jayden kicked Cedric at the back of leg and as he fell, he took the gun and pointed it at his father.

“Stay back,” he screamed as Cedric stood up.

“You need to understand that I am a victim too, Jayden. She promised me we would kill Chris.”

“That doesn’t make you a victim, it makes you a hardened criminal.”

With my attention on Jayden and his dad, I felt a sharp pain and realized that the motherfucker I was fighting with slashed my arm with a knife. My eyes darkened in anger as I heard Jayden talking to me in the background.

“Should I shoot him, Flower?” He asked, but all my attention was on this guy as I wanted to see him dead. “Answer me,” I ignored him again and all of a sudden, I heard two repeated gunshots and the guy in front of me dropped dead to the floor.Four,Five.

I looked at Jayden who returned the gun's attention back to his dad. “Sorry, I was asking you something, but you ignored me. Should I shoot him or not?”

I gawked at him. What did I turn him into? I couldn’t believe he killed someone just to get my attention

The whole Raphael thing was a mistake, but he did this intentionally.

Now he was asking if he should shoot his dad and no doubt he would if I told him to, but I could never.

No matter what he just did, Jayden was still benign and he would surely regret it when all of it was over. I never wanted him to regret killing his dad the way I regretted killing mine.

“No,” I replied and he looked at me in shock.

“Why not? I thought you wanted him dead.”

Just as I was about to reply to him, Cedric moved. No not moved, he grappled the gun out of Jayden’s hands and pushed him to the floor. With the gun now with Cedric, he laughed like a maniac as he pointed the gun at me.

Gideon moved and Cedric directed the gun at him instead, flittering the direction between Gideon, Jayden and I, as his breath quickened in fear.

“Careful who you choose to shoot.” He returned the gun back to me as I spoke. “That gun holds only one bullet, so no matter who you shoot now, you die too.” I explained to him.
