“I’m not going to fuck you in the alley. I want to do this right,” he vows with a genuine smile.

“Okay?” He scans my face as if looking for assurance. I nod with a smile and rest my hands on his shoulders.

He kisses my lips twice and reluctantly sets me on my feet. After adjusting himself, he grabs my hands and lifts them to his mouth.

“I’m done holding back.” He kisses my fingers. “Just be with me and give us a chance.”

He looks at me with a deep sense of understanding and holds my hand. "I get it," he says in a gentle voice. "I feel the same way you do, but I can't keep it inside anymore."

The risk is worth taking if it means we can be together.

We've been friends for years, and I always sensed something more between us. We've shared so many unforgettable moments, but it wasn't until tonight that we finally crossed that line.

As he holds my hand and gazes into my eyes, I feel my heart racing with anticipation. I want him to kiss me again, hold me, and make me feel like I am the only person who matters.

We stand silently, lost in our thoughts and emotions, until he finally speaks up. " I don't want to ruin our friendship. But I can't help the way I feel about you."

I lift my gaze and meet his, and he takes a step closer, bracing his hands against the wall beside me. My body tenses but also relaxes into his touch. It is as if we have been waiting for this moment for years, and now that it has arrived, we can’t resist the pull of the inevitable.

As his lips meet mine, I feel a rush of emotions I have never experienced. He runs his lips down my neck, inhaling my scent with every breath. He pulls back and gazes at me through his hooded eyes. Then he lifts his gaze to my lips.

"I have no idea what will happen next or how things will play out, but I know that you make me happy, and that's all I need."

He leans in and gently places a kiss on my lips. "I hope that's enough for you," he whispers against my mouth.

His words surprise me, but they also make me feel warm and content. At this moment, I know that he is the one for me. I don’t need to know what the future holds or what obstacles we might face. All I know is that I am happy with him, and that is all that matters.

Maverick

Isit behind the wheel of my truck, driving down the winding road that leads to Scar's house. The moon is hidden behind thick clouds, casting an eerie shadow over the fall landscape. Scar sits beside me, staring out the window, lost in thought.

The car is filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by the sound of the engine and the occasional rustle of leaves outside. I steal a glance at Scar, who has her head leaning against the window. I can’t help but notice how beautiful she looks in the dim light.

I slow down as we approach Scar's house and park on the side of the road. I can’t stop thinking about the kiss we shared. It was unexpected, but it felt so right. As I replay the moment in my head, I feel a rush of emotions. I kissed my best friend’s little sister, although she’s not so little anymore. I wasn’t even thinking when I did it.

I... just…did it.

Her cupid’s bow lips were taunting me, begging to be kissed.

She tasted sweet, like a Jolly Rancher.

The softness of her lips, how her hands felt on my back, and her body pressed against mine… It was all so intoxicating. I’ve known Scar for years, but it wasn't until recently that I started seeing her in a different light. She is smart, funny, and beautiful, and I can’t imagine my life without her. As I sit there lost in thought, I realize I wanted more. I want to explore what it would be like to be with her, to kiss her repeatedly, to hold her close, and never let go.

As I lean closer, my hand instinctively reaches out to gently tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear. My fingers then trace the contours of her face, following the curve of her jawline and reveling in the smoothness of her skin. A sudden shudder runs through her body, and goosebumps appear on her skin.

As I notice her reaction, she turns to face me, and I can’t help but smile as I look at her, captivated by her big hazel eyes. It is as if the world has faded away, and there are just the two of us.

As I stroke her cheek, I lean closer and whisper, "We're home." She smiles.

Then, without warning, she leans in and kisses me. It is a soft, gentle kiss, but it sends shivers down my spine.

We pull away, and I look into her eyes, feeling a deep connection between us. "What was that for?" I ask, still a little stunned.

"I don't know," she replies, blushing slightly. "I just wanted to."

I get out of my car and walk her to the front door. As we ascend the steps, she stops in her tracks. As we stand there on the front porch, I can’t help but wonder what is going through her mind. Does she regret the kiss? Does she want me to stay? Leave?
