“But you ARE my girlfriend! I don’t see why we can’t show off our relationship tonight,” he shouts back.

Celeste grabs my chin to keep my head from moving as she applies makeup to my face.

“You might as well give up with that one.” She laughs. “It’s clearly his world, and we’re all just living in it.”

I cross my arms and pout, wishing I could actually be upset by the fact that he genuinely wants to date me. But if I say yes, then what happens to Caleb?

Do I even want to date anyone?

This has been the debate for the last few days. Apparently, they both want to date me, and it’s just fucking weird.

“What do I do, Cele? They won’t go away.”

She leans back and raises an eyebrow. “Should have thought about that before you went to bed with them.” She pauses and a light turns on in her eyes. “Why not date them both?”

“Seriously, Cele,” I growl. “I’m not dating both of them. That’s not helpful.”

“Why not? They seemed okay with sharing you in the bedroom.” She grins.

I shake my head. “I’mnotwalking around with two boyfriends. They may have been okay with it the other night, but I can’t see Caleb being okay withhisgirlfriend having another boyfriend.” I wave my hand in the air. “And that’s not even the point.”

“Why not? After what you’ve been through, why not have more than one boyfriend?”

“The POINT is that I don’t want to date anyone. So I sure as hell don’t want to date them both. Besides, there’s enough bullshit going around about me. I don’t need any more.”

She shrugs her shoulders and finishes my makeup.

“But you don’t care what people think. Remember?” she says with a wink.

We find Micah and Taylor taking shots in the kitchen as we finish getting dressed. It annoys me to no end how comfortable everyone else seems to be in my space.

“You ladies look beautiful.” Taylor smiles, and from the corner of my eye, I see Celeste blush.

I stare at the ceiling to make my eye roll less obvious. These two have been skirting around their feelings for months now. I just feel like pushing their heads together and forcing them to just kiss already. I don’t understand how they haven’t.

Instead of stating the obvious, I hurry everyone out of the dorm.

“Let’s just get this over with so that I can come home and sleep.”

Micah whispers in my ear from behind. “Can I make you come tonight?”

“Oh, for fuck’s sake!” I groan and squeeze my eyes as we pile into the elevator.

“What?” He feigns innocence. “I had a big hand in helping us win the championship game today. It’s not unheard of for a football player’s girlfriend to give him some for the win.”

I whip my head to Celeste.

“Talk to me before I do something violent.”

The three of them grin at me like they know a secret that I don’t.

“You know what, forget it. I’m going back upstairs. You guys can go without me,” I snap.

At that, Celeste’s grin only grows wider. “You have to come, Evie. We haven’t won against Dartmouth in like ever. It would be tragically disappointing if the school’s star quarterback didn’t have his girlfriend there to celebrate.”

Micah jumps at that. “So you’re dating Caleb?”

The elevator door’s chime open and I hurry out of the building to get some space. I rub at my temples, trying not to panic, but nothing helps. The next thing I know, Taylor’s arm wraps around my shoulder.
