Another woman who looks like she’d be lucky to be pushing twenty wipes her nose. “Upstairs. In the playroom. It’s for the special ones. They said they needed to prepare her. That’s what they call it.” She lowers her eyes. “They, uh…they sell them and play with them.”

I swallow hard, trying to control the rage. “Upstairs?”

She nods.

“Ava, can you hear me?”

“Yes, boss, I’ve been here. I am here.” Ava says softly.

“Send in the extraction team. And alert Seb and Lukas that the omega is upstairs and the beta sibling can’t be trusted.”

“On it, boss. Hang tight.” Ava tries to sound happy, but it doesn’t come through.

“Help Is coming, Elise. I need to go find Missy now. But help’s coming for all of you, but I need you to be quiet.” I say loudly to the room.

They don’t really acknowledge me, but Elise almost puts her fist in her mouth to stop the sobs.

“I promise,” I say to the older girl who offered her help. “Elise?”

She shakes her head. “Just help Missy. She didn’t look good. Please, just help my sister.”

“I’m going to help you both.” I promise. My gaze sharpens. “What do you mean, she didn’t look good?”

“They gave her something, and she started moaning like she was in pain. She smelt real strong.”

“Aw, fuck.” I snarl. “Ava?”

“On it. Shit, I’m sending in Faro, too.”

I trust Faro, he’s one of the employees whose been with us the longest, he’s also a trained medic.

“Good. I’m proceeding upstairs now.” I say evenly, forcing myself to hold it all together.

“Extraction team in three minutes.” Ava barks.

“Elise, they are going to be here in a couple of minutes. You do as they say all right, but don’t let anyone take you anywhere but to my headquarters.”

“How will I know?”

“You’ll see an arrow with angel wings and a tree behind it. That’s how you’ll know. Find a lady named Ava.”

Elise nods, and I turn and jog out of the room. It feels like it takes forever, but it only takes a few moments. I slip out of the door, and find myself grabbed by Sebastian, who buries my face in his chest and gives me one of his bone-aching hugs.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” I mutter.

“No, you’re not, but you will be,” Seb growls, “when we get her back.”

“How are we doing this?” Lukas asks.

“Open the bond.” I say to Lukas. “Open the bond to our omega and find her.”

“If we do this, we won’t ever get a chance to bring them down.” Seb warns, his eyes searching my face.

“I don’t care!” I almost shout. “I love her. She needs us. None of it matters but getting her out.”

“Ten years of work-”
