I sit in the office and glare at Darion and Lukas. There are now four desks, and mine is as big as theirs.

“I won’t do it.” I spit defensively and lean back in my chair. Lukas slides onto my desk, easing closer, Darion perches on the side of his desk and watches me, and Seb leans against the window.

Darion throws his hands in the air. “I’m not saying you have to, but it would mean the world to me-“

“Do not finish that sentence, Darion.” I send him a withering glare and turn on Seb. “Help me.” I plead. My normally sensible alpha doesn’t look inclined to rescue me today and that’s just not right.

Seb rubs his chin and looks at the three of us. “I think that I might sit this one out.” But he stands up and gets all four of us drinks and then pops a chocolate in my mouth, while Lukas wails about Seb stealing his thunder.

I gape at him. “You traitor,” I say in mock outrage when he gets Lukas one.

He winces. “Missy, don’t be like that. It’s not fair to be angry for us wanting to-”

“To coddle me? To make me suffer? To put me through the nine levels of hell? I own a part of our company. I’ve helped you expand. I carry my own weight. I am a formidable omega respected by the masses!” I throw my hands up dramatically, fighting back a smile. Kandi told me to make them work for it, they’re close to begging. I really don’t want to do this, but I will for them, I just want a little bit of seeing them suffer before I give in. “Worst mates ever.” I say without heat. “But bring me more chocolates first,” I purr and throw him a wink.

Darion seizes me in a surprise move and tugs my chin until I’m looking up at him. “I’ll do that thing you love with my tongue if you do this for me.”

I narrow my eyes and try to hide that I’m both tempted and amused. I should not be encouraging this behaviour. But that tongue thing…mmm.

“It’s one little ceremony.”

“We can just go visit a city hall. Why does it need to be a big to do?” I whine. “There’ll be people, and they won’t let us sneak off and have sex, and people. Did I mention people?”

Lukas snickers. “A week of no people after, though.”

I perk my head up and study him. “A week?”

“We can make it two. No people. Just you, me, Seb, and Darion, too, if he isn’t dead.” Lukas purrs. “All you need to do is let us put a ring on it.”

I glower. “You can do that. I just don’t see why everyone has to be there watching.”

“Because they love you.” Seb says evenly. Ever my voice of reason.

I growl and stalk around, absently passing my desk in the huge office. I’m an invaluable member of Raptore Security, and to my surprise, I find I both love the work and feel a deep well of satisfaction from being here.

“People can love from a distance. We can do slides.” I suggest. “Send postcards saying ‘wish you were here’ but not meaning it.” I snicker to myself and glance hopefully at my alphas. “Tempting, isn’t it?”

“Missy Clark! You are not depriving this world and people who love you of a wedding.”

I wince and turn to give Ava and Kandi my best innocent stare. A wall of feminine rage hits me, and I sigh. I’ve lost whatever battle I was trying to win. It was a half hearted effort anyway, how can I really mean it, when my guys are standing there, looking at me with those big, sexy eyes. I huff.

“I don’t know what you mean.” I insist.

Seb sidles up and presses a kiss to my temple. “One little wedding, and I promise you, it will be over. We can celebrate. We can go anywhere in the world. Marry me.”

I groan. “You three don’t play fair.”

“As I was going to say, you don’t have to stay home…we could go on a trip and see the world?” Darion pulls out four plane tickets from inside his jacket and waves them through the air.

I stare at them, my heart jumping. “You want to go on a holiday with me?”

“No.” Darion barks out and slaps the tickets down. “I want to go on a honeymoon with you.”

I stare at him, feeling all the emotions welling up. Darion mutters darkly and folds his arms over his chest while Seb picks up the tickets and raises his eyebrows. Darion closes the space with a sigh and kisses my forehead.

“Stop being so surprised that we want you to have all the things.” He murmurs.

“Really? You really want to marry me?” This time, I’m serious, I allow the wonder to shine through. This time, I know they really mean it. We have the bonds already, it can’t get more forever than that. Why do they want this?
