“We just want you to be ours in every way.” Lukas says gently. “In all the ways.”

My throat tightens, and I swollen hard and rub the tears out of my eyes.

I stare at Darion and then look at Seb. Now, I want to know where the tickets go, but then it doesn’t matter, I’d go anywhere with them. And…marriage? I gaze at them and find my heart full to bursting. I love them more with each day. Of course, I’m going to marry them.

Without the threat hanging over their heads, my boys have found peace. We have built our life with negotiations and very few arguments. I know I scored the love lottery, the life lottery. I’m blessed, and I know it.

“All right. Let’s do it. But three weeks. Because I’m due for my heat soon.”

Darion stalks towards me. “Oh, Princess, you never have to worry about that. We keep track.”

I do a double take, unsure if that is creepy or sexy, and decide it’s sexy and creepy.

Something twangs along the bonds between the three alphas, and I feel their excitement jump. I narrow my eyes, folding my arms under my breasts. I’ve obviously missed something in the negotiations that’s come out to my disadvantage.

Ava smiles. “Perfect. Boys, out.”

My alphas file out, leaving me in complete confusion. “What’s going on?”

“You’re getting married before you can change your mind,” Ava says with a laugh.

It didn’t take long to forgive her, but I know she still punishes herself. I wish she would stop. She truly gives too much of herself to the world, and to see her working so tirelessly to get the forgiveness she’s already got hurts.

I met her nephew. He was six months old when those monsters were threatening him. I can see exactly why Ava did what she needed to do.

I peer at Kandi. The three of us have become really close. An unlikely trio, but somehow we fit. Her wounds healed up, but she’s been left with a scar on her cheek that makes her look even more fearsome. I’ve been wondering when she and Sven are going to announce their relationship.

Kandi holds out a white dress bag.

“Oh, no, no, no.”

“You said yes.”

I swallow hard. “But-”

“Two hours and then a mystery flight to anywhere but here,” Ava sings.

“Hmm. Give me that dress.”

I put it on and feel butterflies jump. It fits perfectly, and when Ava shows me a photo of myself, I almost don’t recognise me anymore. I look happy. I look like a bride. The off white lace gown is delicate, covers my arms, and doesn’t have a long train. I like the fact that it’s a little dated.

“Who chose this gown?”

“Seb did,” Kandi says quietly.

I close my eyes, trying to suppress the emotion. These guys, they continue to be my knights on white horses. My happy ending. My dragons. They are my magic. My family, and my home.

“All right, let’s go.” I say gruffly and kick the short train behind me. I let out a gasp when I see that my friends have changed. They look stunning in simple black gowns, somehow, despite their very different frames, the same dress flatters both of them. “When did you get changed? You’re my bridesmaids? Of course, you’re my bridesmaids!” They planned this. My alphas and my friends got together and planned this day knowing I’d have hated it.

I love them all so much.

“About the time you fell into a hole, daydreaming about your alphas,” Kandi teases.

We drive for a long time, but I recognise the old neighbourhood. I peer out the windows, wondering what the hell we’re doing here. But then I see the green. That immense tree that’s suddenly green and healthy, full of leaves, just like I remember it from when I was a kid, and excitement flares.

As soon as the car stops, I get out and stare at the amazing utopia in this horrible hell. There’s a sign in front of the park. I stare at it and remember the story, the day it really began. Kenzie Ribbon Omega Sanctuary. I’d told the guys about Kenzie and introduced them to Lillian, who had clutched at Lukas and bawled in his arms.

“Don’t you dare cry,” Ava snaps at me.
