“But we only met a few days ago, and we just slept together yesterday.” As much as I wanted this, how could we all be so sure? What if they didn’t want me in a week or two? What if they got tired of me?

“We want you for as long as you’ll have us. We’re hoping forever is on the table. We plan on sleeping with you every day from now on.” Liam smiled.

“I’ve wanted you since you rolled down the window and flashed those pretty eyes at me.” Duke lifted my hand and placed a kiss on my inner wrist. “Please say you’ll stay.”

He winced when his phone beeped. Glancing at the clock on the stove, I saw it was later than I’d thought. He was going to have to leave for work soon.

“We can talk about this later. It’ll give you some time to think about it.” Duke pulled back, but I grabbed his arm before he could move away.

I didn’t want to have this conversation later. I wanted them to know what I wanted now. “Yes.”

“Pardon?” Liam leaned closer.

“Yes, I’ll stay with you. I want to be with you. Both of you.”

Duke surged forward and landed a bruising kiss on my lips. I smiled into his kiss, laughing.

“Now I really don’t want to go to work,” he growled, stepping away to allow Liam to give me his own enthusiastic kiss. Life couldn’t get any better than this. I was on top of the world with the two of them and the future I saw before us.

“What are your shifts like?” I asked Duke as he finished making his coffee in his travel mug.

“I only work part time, so it depends on the week. My schedule is three days on, four days off. Each week is different depending on what days my shifts fall on. I work ten-hour days and pick up an extra shift if needed. Tonight, I picked up a graveyard for one of the other guys who had a previous obligation. Otherwise, I would have been done with work today.” He grumbled the last bit, making me smile. I didn’t want him to go to work either. Now that we’d had a talk and I knew where I stood with them, it would have been nice to celebrate together. But I also understood he had a commitment to the town and his job.

“You come home when?” I tried to calculate it in my head, but I didn’t know when his shift actually started.

“As soon as humanly possible, darlin’.” He gave me a peck on the cheek but answered when I gave him a fake scowl. “I should be home before you wake up. Especially if Liam does a good job of tiring you out tonight.”

“You won’t be jealous I’m with Liam alone?” I cocked my head. If we were going to make the three of us work, I needed to know how they felt about time I spent with each of them.

“Yes… and no. Of course I’m going to be jealous he has you all to himself, but there will be times when he’s at a horse show and I get my turn. But knowing he is taking care of you is enough to get me through my shift.” He brushed a thumb along my cheekbone. My chest tightened at his tender caress. I loved seeing his grumpiness slip away and his sweet side shine through.

“Okay. I just wanted to make sure you were okay with it.” I grabbed the front of his uniform and pulled him in between my legs. “Just make sure you’re home before I wake up.” I wanted to give him a proper goodbye kiss filled with promise before he left again.

My tongue dueled with his, and by the time I let him go, we were both panting. “Enjoy your night, darlin’. Think of me.” His lips turned up against mine.

“I’ll try. I’ll miss you” He nipped at my lips one more time before reluctantly pulling away and heading out the front door.

Liam wiped down the kitchen island. “What would you like to do tonight?”

I jumped off the counter. “Oh my gosh, I almost forgot. Would you mind helping me unload everything I bought today?”

Liam’s eyebrows knitted together. “Unload? Woman, what did you buy?”

I chuckled and walked out to Blake’s SUV without a word. I popped the hatchback to reveal my bags. A few were full of clothes and others were filled with groceries.

“I was planning on making dinner one of these nights, so I got what I needed in town while I was there.” I took one of the bags with my clothes, and before I could grab another, Liam had both his arms loaded with the rest. “You know I can take some of those.” I smiled at him. He really was so sweet.

“One is enough,” he said as I hit the automatic close button for the hatch.

“Let’s get this stuff put away and find something for dinner.” Liam kept pace with me, even though I knew his long legs could eat up the distance to the house in half the time.

“What dish did you have in mind to make this week?” he asked as we put away the groceries.

“It was supposed to be a surprise, but I’m never good with those.” I shrugged. “I was going to make a pasta Bolognese with a fresh salad and cheesecake for dessert.”

“That sounds divine. We can do that in a couple of days so Duke can have it when he gets home. With work tonight, his shifts this stretch are all messed up.”

“Works for me. What do you want to do tonight?” I laughed at Liam’s waggling eyebrows. “I meant for dinner.”
