“There she is.” He moves towards me and holds out his hand but I don’t take it.

“Why aren’t you married?”

Well, I wasn’t expecting that.

I mean I was expecting this conversation at some point but not right after sex. Certainly not right afterthatkind of sex.

“You want to talk about this now?”

“You’re just so…perfect.” She crosses her arms over those delicious tits and my eyes drop to them, lazily dragging my eyes over the creamy skin. “How has no woman realized that?”

I pull my eyes away from them and switch off the water, my dick already retreating because it knows it won’t be spending time inside Raegan anytime soon. I grab the towel on the hook and wrap it around my waist as I stand in front of her. “I’m not perfect.”

She purses her lips before she sits on the bed and wraps the blanket around her. “You know what I mean.”

I sit next to her and grab her hand, pulling it to my lips. “I’ve never been like this with another woman before.” I sigh because I’m not sure what else to say. I don’t want to say that she’s different because I don’t know how to explain why that is. “I’ve never cared about whether a woman thought I was perfect.”

She shakes her head and puts her hands on my chest. “You don’t have to try to be perfect by the way.” She sits back on her heels and chuckles. “Even though you are.”

I smile and press my lips to hers. “I’m certainly not.” I tell her before I stand to dry off and get dressed.

“What flaw do you have? Besides leaving the thermostat on sixty-five in December—but we can work on that.”

I shoot her a look. “Oh, we can?”

“Don’t you want me to stay over?” She sasses.

“Don’tyouwant my tongue in your cunt?” I shoot back without even looking at her as I grab some briefs from my suitcase, and she scoffs.

“Rude!” She’s silent before she speaks up again. “How many serious relationships have you had?”

“How many have you had?” I ask her.

“Two,” she responds. “But I’m twenty-one.”

“Yes, twenty-two next month,” I say, remembering her feisty comment from the holiday party.

“Don’t be cute.” She gets up and starts to get dressed as well.

“I’ve had a few more.”

“I would assume that with having a few years on me.”

“I was engaged once,” I tell her. I want to be completely transparent about Hannah so I guess it’s time to get it all out in the open. I have nothing to hide and I certainly wouldn’t want to hide anything from Raegan.

“Did you end it?” She asks as she slides a new thong up her legs.

“No, we’re still together,” I joke as I begin to button my shirt.

She glares at me and I laugh as she swats my hand away and begins to button them for me. “You know what I mean.”

“I initiated it technically, but she was on board. We both decided it was time. The last year we were together was really hard. We fought all the time and I was the most unhappy I’d ever been.” I sigh as I think about that time in my life. “I was stressed about work and I was just so miserable, but we ended it, and I saw a therapist for a while, and everything seemed to settle after that.”

“You have a therapist?”

“I do. I don’t see her often, but I think it’s important. I was angry at my parents for a while for some things and I wanted to let that go. I was very overwhelmed and overworked when I was getting my company off the ground, so she was good for that as well.” I shrug. “And then again when everything happened with Hannah.”

“Wow. That is really mature. I feel like some men won’t freely admit that.” I pull on my slacks and watch as she pulls a bra on over her tits. “So, just the one relationship?” She raises an eyebrow like she’s not buying that.
