“My author is eccentric and horny.”

Drew held the terrycloth garment open and I stepped into it. He tied the sash then cradled my face between his palms. “You okay, Brick?”

I nodded. “Yeah, just … overwhelmed.” I introduced them. “Aithan Mazur, this is Drew Katterman. Drew, this is Aithan.”

Aithan gaped at him, his pants halfway up his thighs. “Wait.TheDrew Katterman? You write theStarship Steamseries. And theDragon Dominationbooks, right?”

Drew grinned suddenly bashful and it was a freaking adorable look on him. “Yeah, those are my books.” He picked up my dress and lingerie.

“Dude, I love your battle babes. They’reamazing.”

Drew eyed me. “You ever listen to the audiobooks?”

“Only. Best thing to do while stuck in traffic.” Aithan pulled his pants all the way up. They looked nice riding low on his hips. The man’s physique was a God-given gift. He smiled like an angel and fucked like a demon, and I felt mighty blessed.

“Well, you just pleasured the narrator.” Drew jerked his thumb toward me.

Aithan turned, his expression as bright as a kid’s on Christmas morning. “No. Way.”

It was my turn to blush. “Way.”

“Now I know why I love your voice so much. I can’t believe I didn’t put two and two together.” He grinned at Drew and confessed, “I’ve jerked off to all your books.”

“Nice!” Drew high-fived him. “You know, in here is where the voiceover magic happens.” He flicked on the office lights.

Aithan followed him into the room. “So you record everything here, Zel?” He peered through the window of the recording booth.

“Yep. Record, edit, and mix all my files. Everything’s done here.” I was still reeling a little, still off-kilter.

He moved to the shelf where I kept soft cover copies of all the novels I’d recorded, as well as the awards I’d won. “Damn, beautiful, I didn’t realize how successful you are.”

Before I could downplay my accomplishments, Drew said, “Brick’s one of the top five fiction narrators in the industry. She records for the big publishers, too.”

“Whoa. That’s cool.” Aithan grinned at me.

“I’ve been fortunate. Recording for Drew put me at the top of a lotta lists.” I changed the subject. “So you like romance novels?”

“Sure.” Aithan looked at all the award plaques on my office wall. “My sister, Paulina, got me hooked on reverse harem. I like strong women who know what they want and ask for it. Our mom’s that way, so it’s what I look for in a woman.”

Drew flopped onto the loveseat. “That’s why you were good with me watching you bang her.”

Aithan shrugged. “I work hard to be fit, man. Why would it bother me to show off my skills?”

Drew folded his arms behind his head. The tattoos on his chest flexed with his movements. “In my experience, having another man in the room freaks out a lot of guys.”

Aithan shrugged. “If Zel gets off being watched and sharing her body with more than one guy, I’m totally okay with that. I get off when she gets off.”

Drew’s head tilted. “So you’re okay with ménage.” His gaze drifted to me and Aithan’s eyes followed. “Zel?”

I chewed my lip. Here we go.“Moment of truth.”

Drew leaned forward and caught my hand. “You’re safe with us, babe. You’re still in charge. I promised you that, and I don’t break promises. You know that.”

I nodded. I trusted him.

Aithan stroked my jaw then tipped my head up to look at him. “You’re in control. I’ll never forget that.”

Drew got up and moved behind me. “Turn off your brain, Zelda Claudette Gordon,” he whispered in my ear.
