How had I gone from barely attractive to Tristan, to pursued by two incredible men? I shivered and decided not to question my amazing fucking luck. They wanted me, even after seeing me naked. Even after my earlier hesitation. I swallowed and wished away the butterflies in my belly. “The more the merrier, boys.”

Drew hugged me and kissed the back of my neck. “Tease. You know I have a car coming in twenty minutes.”

Aithan laughed. “You blue-balled yourself, man.”

I escaped them and dropped onto the loveseat. “You planning to get dressed before leaving, or are you gonna wear your PJs all the way to Boston?”

“Tempting,” Drew replied, “but no. I was heading upstairs to get dressed when I heard the garage door open. Glad I waited.”

I tucked my hair behind my ears, trying not to blush. “Me, too.”

Aithan changed the subject. “Does he know about Tristan?”

Crapola.“Yeah, but not about the newest messages.” I fetched my phone from my purse and showed the latest nastiness to Drew.

He scanned the texts, his expression darkening. “Fucking hell, Brick. Send these to your dad.”

“I don’t want to drag him into this mess.”

Drew shook his head. “Maybe not, but that’s not normal behavior.”

“He’s right,” Aithan agreed.

I chewed my lip. “I’ll text him after you leave.”

Arms folded across his impressive chest, Aithan arched a brow at Drew. “You’re leaving just when things are heating up?”

Drew groaned. “Afraid so. I have book signings on the East Coast this weekend.” He pulled me into his arms. “Rerecord those chapters when you’re ready to get your head into them, okay?”

“I will. Don’t worry. It won’t take long.”

“I know. I’ve got a few weeks of wiggle room before I have to pub that file, so you have time.”

“Thanks.”

He kissed me, then glanced at the clock. “Shit. Gotta put clothes on.”

“Not the words usually coming out of your mouth,” I remarked.

He gave me a threatening look. “Don’t make me bend you over your desk.”

“You and your idle threats,” I said, then squealed and ran up the stairs, laughing as he lunged after me.

NO SECOND GUESSING

After a quick showerand clean clothes, I headed downstairs but stopped on the second floor landing as the guys’ voices drifted up.

“I’ve got other commitments on the East Coast,” Drew said. “You’re here, man. You have the luxury of seeing her every day. That makes it easy to know the next steps. But my home is on the other side of the country. I don’t know if a commitment is what Zel wants right now, and I can’t drop everything and move to Seattle after one amazing week of fucking. That wouldn’t be fair to either of us.”

Aithan’s voice rumbled in response. “You can’t just leave her hanging. That’snot fair. You’re not responsible for her decisions, but youareresponsible for bringing her into this relationship.”

“Yes, but she needs to tell me what she wants. I won’t second guess her and I promised her long ago that I wouldn’t push.”

“Come on, you know she wants you to stay.”

“No, I don’t. She hasn’t said that. And I can’t anyway. Not now. Zel isn’t the only person I’m with.”
